  1. Thanks Shawn really appreciate it brother. "Sierra 48117 ready to assist!"
  2. hi Jakob. first fit test and look everything is going great. what I can see quickly is your sniper knee . for level 2 states : Sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin. In your case it looks that you can align a bit more to the ridges and vertically with the front cover strip. Reference Images Cheers.
  3. Hi Kaden , thank you for your EIB app. one of us will be with you shortly. Meanwhile, we'll need to make a change in your submitted photos. Instead of the option you used to post the images, Copy and paste the direct link to your images so we can see them directly into this post. Thank you
  4. Hi Micah, welcome to FISD. Great to know you're on the way of becoming an Imperial Stormtrooper and let me say you're doing the right path asking first. I strongly recommend to take a look to the following Getting Starting section that I'm sure will be useful for you. Once you have read and have some more questions , please let us know. We are here to help. Cheers
  5. Hi Jakob, it looks pretty good , I think if you want it perfect, you could sand a bit more the 1 mm edge that is still there. REFERENCE IMAGES
  6. Welcome to FIDS !! take a look to the thread pointed by Glen and let us know how we can help. Troopers Helping Troopers
  7. Welcome to FISD. Meanwhile your helmet arrives I would recommend to take a look to the following forum section|: Getting Started Cheers
  8. Welcome to FISD Svante. Don't be afraid mate, everything has a solution. Hoping you don't need to make any fix to your helmet, but we would like to see some photos when It arrives. We are here to help. Cheers
  9. Welcome to FISD , let's know how we can help.
  10. Great to know they are in the correct range. !!
  11. Hey Trooper, looking good. If I can make a suggestion. You may want to check the width of your drop boxes according to the references they seem a little thicker but i may be wrong, just checking.. Reference Images May be a light effect but the ABS Belt square covers could be flatter with no return edge at all. Reference Images Almost there , keep it up.
  12. Congratulations Trooper welcome to the ranks !!!
  13. Hi Richard, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armour. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. *************************************************** Starting from top: Your helmet seems to be riding a bit high in comparison with most seen onscreen. Not a deal breaker for Level 3 by any means, I had this same issue with my Anh Tk due to have excess padding in the top, removing or reducing it will help it ride a bit lower and looks more accurate . Reference Images Your neck seal looks great mate and although you have the correct number of ribs and shiny finish as required, It should ideally have the zipper closure in the front. Reference Images If you raise your biceps a little more, you will free your elbows for greater mobility and more accuracy Reference Images It could be a light effect, but one of the three "dots" on each of the ridged area of the forearms looks more in the range of black color , and should not be. The crl for L2 states "On the ridged rail the third retaining button head closest to elbow is to be painted grey or is a grey decal." Reference images Moving on your TD from the side, there's a noticeable gap between your TD and the backplate that you may want to make some adjustment to reduce it. Reference Images Looking closely to the right side of the TD, we suggest to smooth the edges a bit to get a better look. A few minutes of sanding could make the deal. Reference Images We are suggesting trimming your cod and posterior plate to better reflect the angle as seen in TLJ. Note in the reference images that the bottom part is thinner and actually curves underneath. Reference Images *************************************************** Centurion Requirements; In this section we prepare you for Centurion. Because Centurion photos show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Something to be aware of is that the tops of your forearms have a curve (as seen in TFA) rather than a slight angle as seen in TLJ Reference Images It looks like your TD mount and TD plate are one piece, and although not specifically mentioned in the CRLs (not yet) they must be 2 separate components. Reference Images This is just a small detail that is missing from your weapon, it's the presence of a light mount on the barrel also known as Picatinny (Pic) rail . You can find it online on several types and sizes Reference Images Finally, Those FOTK fantastic looking blasters, sharp lines, working lights are really amazing. unfortunately yours has some details seen in TFA not in TLJ. A rectangular "D-ring" must be present, and both it and the mount need to be white. Reference Images And That's all Richard, you and your friends did a great work on those 3 TLJ Armors. Congratulations again and looking forward for your Centurion app in a nearest future.
  14. Hi Craig and welcome to FISD. Glad to read you're in the process of become a ESB Stormtrooper and the best part is that you're going for higher levels. , I would strongly recommend to start a Building thread here so you can post photos most of us use imgur to post photos directly into the threads and receive a lot of tips and feedback of your build . about your questions, i'll try to explain the best i can. Are the hand plates made of rubber or silicone? Or are they hard plastic for Centurion? ESB Hand guards are hard plastic and the gloves can be rubber or satin What is a “S” neck? Btw don’t google that. The "S" neck trim is the rubber seal that is placed in the bottom of the helmet. "S" refers to the shape of the seal. "S "Shape 'U' Shape The white elastic that holds down the shoulder pieces, that is attached to the larger white elastic of the chest and back over the shoulder. Yes? How wide is the shoulder white elastic? You can use 5mm elastic Bicep below or tucked in the shoulder piece for centurion? You can use a bit tucked shoulder for L3 , personally I like the ESB look with the shoulder below. Do the ear piece rank colors specific to the button? Can someone show me a side picture of centurion for both ears please? The ears have actualy 4 bumps, but only 2 or 3 painted May I put black mesh behind the frown in lieu of the typical silver mesh to help conceal my face? The mesh behind the frown is a Basic level, not for accuracy but due to when in Trooping, is preferable to hide your face from the public. You can use a balaclava of course . For Centurion, it's not a requirement but we will point it as a suggestion Will installing the UKsWrath Hovi iComm tips invalidate the helmet for centurion? They're approved for Centurion Level. The CRL states “AM v1” chest and back to replace for more screen accuracy. Can someone explain this? And second part of this question.. will the RSPro Commission built pieces meet that criteria? The AM V1 Chest , as I know is a no longer available, it's an old version and different from screen used. RS prop is a great choice. AM V1 Recent version AM Hope this can help you.
