  3. Hi Dan, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armour. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. *************************************************** Great to see one of your awesome builds Dan, It's my honor, and a little intimidating, to review a master armorer work. Let's start from top. Just a small detail on your helmet . Is seems like the rear traps corners are a bit rounded and they could be more angular as the references. One minute painting session make the deal. Reference Images Ideally, your helmet could be a bit lower . I had this issue too and what I did was to remove the top sponge lining and leave just a piece of thin foam. It worked very nice. Reference Images There is a bit overlap in the back plate over the shoulder bell, just to take car every time when suiting up your armor. Reference Images *************************************************** Centurion Requirements; In this section we prepare you for Centurion. Because Centurion photos show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. CRL L3: The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. Perhaps it could be a light effect but it seems that your elastic band on the shoulders is missing, that may cause your shoulder bridges are riding little up. Placing the elastic could solve the issue or plan B could be a hot water bath for them. Reference Images CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. This is the most common issue , the Ab belt is riding a bit low. A piece of velcro behind the plastic belt could do the trick. Easy fix! Reference Images CRL L3: Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top. Your Ab/Kidney connection is a little overlapping and this causes the misalignment on top. Perhaps a strapping adjustment could help. Reference Images Moving on your TD , It looks like the button panel is a bit high , rotating backwards could help and may be centering it with the canvas belt. Reference Images Your butt plate is going a bit over the kidney armor, I would suggest doing a strapping adjustment to get it closer. Reference Images Looking at your thighs, they are superposing the butt plate and this could be a potential "armor bites" issue. What I should do? plan A: I could try to lower the thighs down if I have enough space and plan B: Trimming a bit them to gain room. Reference Images CRL L2: Sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin. Finally, this is a more challenging issue Trooper, but we know and are confident in your expertise. Even though the Sniper Knee vertical alignment is perfect, they are running a bit low with the ridges of the shin. Reference Images *************************************************** Congratulations again Dan, and looking forward for your Centurion app.

Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. *************************************************** Glad to see another great set of armor brother! Let's start your review. We are suggesting to drop the biceps a little as there is a bit of room at the elbows. just a strapping adjustment. Reference Images Your "Han Snap" is located a bit down according to the reference images. for more accuracy it should be relocated. Reference Images Even thought the ABS belt is riding almost touching the buttons, looking closely, it is at an angle to the left side compared to the ab and body. Reference Images Looking at the ends of your ABS belt , they tend to stick out a bit. It would give you a cleaner look if it wrapped around your body a bit more. A suggested fix could be a hot water bath. Reference Images The Belt button covers could be closer to the ends of the belt and the width of that belt area is a little wide . We are suggesting to trim down a bit the end section. Reference Images It seems like your Thermal Detonator control pad sits a bit high and It needs to be a bit lower so that the controls/round washer can be seen more. Looking closely, the clips are poking out under the belt, perhaps turning the TD down a bit can do the fix. Reference Images This is a small detail that we suggest you could address for a better look. You have a small gap between kidney and butt plate. Reference Images A suggested solution is to add a couple os plastic pieces , as you can see bellow. I have use this method in a couple of builds and believe me , it works. Moving down, your Sniper plate is sitting a bit under thigh, perhaps you could place some foam to push it forward. Reference Images We noticed that your thighs are hitting the butt plate ,and this could make you have some "armor bite". You can check your straps and lower then a bit and this could aldo prevent the sniper knee to sit under the tight. Reference images Reference images Finally in this section , we have your E11 blaster. It looks like your ammo counter in riding a bit lower than references. We are suggesting to repositioning it. Reference Images Centurion Requirements; In this section we prepare you for Centurion. Because Centurion photos show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Even thoght not specifically mentioned in the CRL, as we can see in the references the hovi mix tips rim and mesh should be painted black Easy fix in a quick painting session. Reference Images Finally Trooper. While we are sure you have the correct rubber gloves as you have posted in the photos, it looks like the ones you're wearing are fabric or nomex like, and for the records and future troopers reference, It would be necessary for your L3 application, ( we are sure you're going the next step ), that you wear the rubber gloves for the photo session. Reference Images And that's all Ardeshir. Another star to your EIB badge ! Congratulations and looking forward for your Centurion submission !!
  17. Hi Michael, great to see your Kit has arrived. If you're like me and like the video tutorials, I would like to recommend you to take a look to this video from RWA creations, they are so practical and I think they could be so helpful for you. Also you can take a look to this forum post about return edges . Remember, post photos , ask questions . If you're not sure of a cut, post a photo here prior to cut anything. We are here to help.
  18. Hi Scott, thank you for your patience. As Glenn mentioned, the cover could be trimmed a bit to get then more squared .
  19. And you did right mate, I was giving you the option of center de cordura narrow belt too.
  20. Another point to consider Scott. In regards to the TKC belt , even though some references shows off center position of the fabric belt to plastic belt, consider to place it central and as the game versions should be based on real armor, it also looks better when they match the corners of the plastic belt secion. As long as the width is ok they are normally passed and looks better.
