Hi Nick, I used a regular drill bit for the bottom of the grip, then the below Dremel attachment for the muzzle bolts: This was, by far, my favourite and most used attachment for this build. :-)

[emoji1] You probably have already, however, I’d suggest having a peek at some RS builds and Centurion applications whilst you wait to give you a taste of how awesome the kits can look and what’s required. And regarding the 501st, I’ve been trooping with the 501st UKG since March this year and couldn’t recommend it higher! [emoji1303][emoji1]

Nice progress, Ian. Looks like approval won’t be far away. :-) Just out of interest, are the thighs finished and glued up yet? I only ask as the thighs look a little wide/large around the knee compared with the top of the shins. A little bit off the back should solve that. :-) Dan

[emoji1303] Just a little thing - if you’re going for the usual 15mm coverstrips on the forearms, I’d suggest you consider taking more excess from the front to create the correct “ridge” look at the front. As per the below pic, the ridge sits only a couple/few mm either side of the coverstrip. If you were to put a 15mm coverstrip up to yours, it looks like the ridge would be quite large. It looks like you have plenty of room to play with, so any excess that needs removing to fit these parts to your arms can be trimmed from around the back. As the front is the main part that people will look at, personally I’d prioritise the front of the arms over the back. Best wishes Dan :-)

Hi Mark, Welcome back. :-) Not too sure about the others, however, I finished my kit around November last year and used Humbrol gloss #5 for the grey buttons and gloss #14 for the blue. Same as my lid. I’ve not heard of any changes since. Best wishes Dan

No worries. It’s all doable. A friend of mine is pretty slim and he cleared his kit with UKG, then EIB here at FISD. Hiya, I’ve not done it myself but have heard that ABS paste is good for that. Search for abs paste here on FISD and you’ll see some examples of how to make and use it. :-)
