This is merely my 2¢, for special occasions - go nuts. Dual plating, glitter, 3D molds, etc. What’s $2-3 more a coin every 15 years? Great designs so far! Stiff competition.

I do not see them being around much longer... last time I checked all they in had in stock was a dice game, some lapel pins and some cheap looking ties.

Looks like it. Still, some rework would net you a fairly accurate helmet.

I did this to the inside of my helmet, more to cut down on light leakage, but totally worth it IMO.

RS is ‘thick enough’ IMO. Some vendors (like ATA) go thicker but at loss of sharp details. (Anything is better than Anovos.)

If you get one of @ukswrath kits you can turn the fans on independently so you can do it either way. I usually only run one fan unless it’s really toasty in my bucket.

Yeah, NV is going to be pretty hostile to trooping until a vaccine, that’s what we are here for. If you have a room mate/spouse/etc. that can help with fitting it will help immensely. Measure thrice cut once, save your scrap plastic for repairs. I’m in Reno but in the Neon City FB group, sounds like Clay is helping. Good luck and I hope you are thinking about EI and Centurion!

We both went for Centurion and joined the ranks of IA around the same time (and staff too), so I’ve always considered you my FISD twin. You have been a great asset to the detachment, cheers to 3k more posts.
