  2. Micheal, Looking great so far mate. Just a couple of things missing from your list: Band Aids Bandages Butterfly stitches Ointment If you are adding a return to your armour then you will need a modeling iron. In which case you'll need: Burn cream Cotton gloves Only joking, well...................you never know.......
  3. Very purdy......mmmmmmm..... blasters.........
  4. I use a chainsaw. I find the level of control is second to none..... seriously though, I use a mixture of utility knife and snap it along the score line or scissors for cutting plastic , depending what parts I'm cutting. If you have some scrap I suggest trying out all the given techniques and find what works best for you.
  5. WOW 2! I sent him a pair of free hovis as he was a newbe and was having trouble with his solid mic tips..... Just goes to show generosity and help doesn't always payoff.
  6. Joe and myself were planning of giving all our details to the mods just so this kind of thing never happens, not that it will with us anyway. It would give customers peace of mind. We would never take anyone's money without the stock being there for release.
  7. Check out cheap third party courier sites. They often offer the same services by the same companies at a fraction of the cost. I use www.parcel2go.com I'm sure there is something like this over there?
  8. Fantastic mate, I love the beaten up look of the originals. This captures that perfectly......
  9. there is nothing wrong with tacking it with glue. just a couple of spots is all that's needed. What trim are you using? the sealsdirect stuff should grip it ok without glue....
  10. Cam said that were no handplates with the original suit.....
  11. great little set up... Can you list the parts you used and where to get them?
  12. I'm just ironing out some things with the forming company and not sure if I should alter the inner thigh moulds as alot of guys seem to prefer the swoop on them. I have been through the pics of the original suit that mine was moulded off and there is no swoop. Anyway that's for my own thread......Fil.............You're on the List! Anyone have a MGC I can build one of these babies up with?
  13. They used MGC Sterlings in ROTJ and as far as I know they also used cast ones too.
  14. That lookS the dogs bollox mate! Very impressive. I'm on the hunt for a MGC at the me to make one of these bad boys.
  15. Congrats Daniel, That looks great. Spot on build.... You've gotta love the TM! I spot a nice poster in the background too..... Style "C" in spanish? Here's mine.....
  16. I had an email apologising for not sending out my lids and that he will send them to me in the new year! After all it's only been 2 years. Who knows maybe after all this time I might actually see what I payed for.
  17. Hey Matti, Loving the Tie mate! I'm looking for some accurate hoses and a stamp box for my DL Tie, can you set me in he right direction?
  18. I can't get enough of Sterling E11's They are mustard....... They look great Fil Is that a M19 on that blaster? I'm thinking of doing another with my M19 scope but here's a quick pic of my M38 version.....
  19. Good luck mate. To say it's a huge undertaking is a huge understatement! :lol Anyone who has the time, dedication and puts in the effort to create accurate armour moulds has my vote. Trust me I'm there!
  20. Just one word on cost. It's no relation to how much plastic costs or what machinery you use. You have to take into account the many months making the moulds and the cost in doing so. Not forgetting the cost of the suit the moulds came from etc.... I should know I'm doing just that myself. Still doesn't excuse Matt being a thief.
  21. That is very expensive for a TE HDPE. I payed $350 for mine. Matt is always saying it's his last one. I payed Matt in full for 2 helmets over 2 years ago and guess what? I'm still waiting for them! I chugged for you that you actually got it and your deal went smoothly. He was probably skint. That the only time I have had a smooth deal with Matt. He owes me $800. He's nothing but a thieif. I've given him the benefit of the doubt so many times I've lost count. He's even a Facebook friend! in my book friends don't treat each other the way he does. I payed for a suit of armour which took a year and a half to arrive and when it did it certainly didn't look like it had been assembled by a "TrooperExpert"! More like a 3year old. glue and overspray everywhere. Enough ranting from me. I'm glad your deal went well but many others didn't.
  22. I've noticed "Rich" has had nothing else to say on the matter.....
