  1. Jessica, your Phasma is one of the best! Soooo Chromey! (is that a word? )
  2. Hey Adam, you could smooth out your cuts with a sanding block or sandpaper taped to a table and/or a wood block. Too bad about your chest return edge. You could try to make a new return edge with the use of a heat iron (found at hobby shops). A heat gun or hot water bath may not be appropriate for such a large piece of ABS. Ordering a new one is a safe bet too, and then you could practice your cutting, sanding, heating on your existing chest piece. Good Luck!
  3. Looking Good! You'll be very happy with Pencap's garter system.
  4. Or go to your local welding supply store and pick up a replacement face shield. You can cut them to fit and come in a variety of "greens".
  5. Looks great! Well done.
  6. The eyes and teeth are very close! The eyes might need a little more taken out of them (have a look at an approved Centurion build for clear examples). The teeth might only need a bit of clean up and squaring off. Looking Good!
  7. Looking good Jayson! It's up to you what you want to do with the ab button plates. Rounding out the corners of the ab button plates ensures they wont get hung up on anything, and makes them look less "stuck on".
  8. BiWay! Ha! Love the 1980's reference. Maybe better luck at Bargain Harolds!
  9. Looking good BTW
  10. I run white industrial Velcro between my abs shoulder straps and the white elastic shoulder straps. It keeps the white elastic hidden well, and also retains the ABS shoulder strap from moving around. Combined with the small white elastic and a good heat bend on the shoulder straps, the straps lay nice and flat on my back plate. You're right, they won't be free-floating, but it secures the whole area better and looks "tight". I also debated doing a snap between the abs and elastic shoulder straps but never put it together to test. It might work too.
  11. You could also take an old belt (or make one with a clip and some webbing) and hang your thighs off of it. It will take some load/stress off the rest of your armor. Looking Good Trooper!
  12. Chance? Um, yes!! One thing I noticed; It might be the way you are standing, but it looks like you have some kidney/ab plate overlap happening. Looking Good!
  13. Looking Good! A couple suggestions that I see (more for appearance than EIB) ... you could bring your biceps down a little bit, it looks like there is some kidney/ab plate overlap on the right side (they shouldn't, but maybe it's how you were standing), and I'd recommend heat bending your shoulder straps so they lay nicely on your back plate. Can your thighs come up a little?
  14. Looking good! Fix what others have mentioned and you should be in good shape! One suggestion I will make it to heat bend your shoulder strap so they sit nicely on your back plate. It will take some pressure off those small elastics too. Nice Job Trooper!
  15. Congrats Aaron! Welcome to the Ranks!
  16. I keep my cell phone and wallet inside a Ziploc bag in there. If I ever get hit my a speeder bike or something, I've got my ID on me.
  17. Hey Dan, Here's a pic. Two fans in the front, and two in the back. ----------
  18. I'll throw out a suggestion ... Try to get face plate and the rest of the bucket playing nice together before any drilling or sanding. I'd use magnets and tape to see if you could get things to line up better without considering the holes you've already drilled. Once you get things looking right, see where your holes and ears line up. you might not be in as bad of shape as you think. Thankfully, the holes are hidden by the ears. Use the reference pics and/or a good Centurion application for bucket guidance. Measure and reference before sanding or drilling!
  19. Ha! Love the GIF. Your ABS paste skills are impressive .... most impressive.
  20. Killer paint on the buttons! I'm liking the zipper idea! Have you tried the zipper while you are wearing your thighs and boots?
