  1. Looks good. The advice provided by others is spot on. Also, you might want to restrain the outer edges of your butt plate. Add some extra snaps or Velcro and it will keep it from popping out like it does at the sides.
  2. Looks Great Angie! My only critique would be to move your biceps down, closer to your forearms. Centurion is in your reach too. Nice Job!
  3. Yup, you can never have enough clamps and magnets. Looking good. Keep the updates coming!
  4. Looking good Josh. Take at look at the E11 forum here on FISD for doopy builds. Great tips and stuff in there.
  5. Looking good trooper. Your fan setup is "all day" good.
  6. Congratulations #300 from #200
  7. Oh, and some answers to your questions.... Aim for no gap between your back and kidney plates. You can do it. The TD clips go over the entire thickness of the canvas belt against the kidney plate.
  8. Looking good Cameron. Yes, do heat bend (hot water bath) those ABS shoulder straps., also, you might want to to consider doubling up the snaps for your shoulder straps ... they carry the load, not the abs straps, so you want them good and secure.
  9. Looking Good Trooper. Note .... The strapping for your drop boxes looks to be oversized, and a little too long. Have a look at a Centurion application for guidance. Good Job so far!
  10. When you have your boots on, your leg & ankle will round out the shape of the boot so that the shins will fit. Put your boot on and then hold the 2 halves of the shin in place. It should all fit, although snugly. I run AP & TK boots too.
  11. Looking Good Trooper
  12. Two pics in this Newsletter ... Rouge One Premiere Hoyts Cannington and National Adoption Day. Public service or not, LFL/Disney does not condone the use of that pose. When these pics show up online (and they do), LFL/Disney doesn't know who asked for what. Keep the mouse happy, and the 501st has no issues.
  13. Great Newsletter ... but I believe putting people in the execution pose and pointing a blaster at their heads is LFL/Disney No-No. All troopers and Garrisons should be reminded of this.
  14. Simply Wow! You should do videos on your weathering technique!
  15. So good I read it twice!
  16. A belt around the waist (with or without suspenders) is best. It takes the load off your torso armor and shoulder straps.
  17. A strap with Velcro or snaps should help restrain your chest. You've already got a center strap, so add additional ones closer to the sides.
  18. Yup, bring your shoulder bells in towards your shoulder straps. Also, add some strapping to restrain the chect to ab connection. In one of your pics, your chest was behind your ab plate. Extra strapping will eliminate that.
  19. Looks good! You may have to trim a little more return edge off your forearms, and possibly add some strapping to restrain the chest to ab connection so you'll never get the gap as shown in your helmet off picture above.
  20. Looking Good Mark. You should try and double snap every connection; it will ensure you don't come apart while trooping. You should be able to put your own arms on. Try putting on your torso armor first, then put on your belt, then put on your shoulder bells with biceps attached, then put on your forearms.
  21. Centurion is easily attainable. Go for it! Your kit will look it's best if you do!
  22. Your return edges look fine. Hit them with a sanding block to even out any waviness. Nice job on the long cut. If you clamp your ruler over the abs at the edge of your plywood board, you'll be guaranteed that the ruler won't move, and your cut will be super straight. Keep it up~
  23. I'm loving the look and secure-ness of the magnets. It's a great idea and looks clean too. My only concern is transportation. I think you'll have to be careful how you pack things and where you put your electronics (if you plan to run any). Strong magnets can destroy cell phones, etc., and I don't know the impact next to battery packs or Icomms. Also, you'll have to be careful who and what you unpack next too. You don't want to damage anyone else's kit, or private property. Not to mention, all your pieces will be attracted to each other in your bin like a bunch of Christmas lights!
