Hi James, this is a pretty old thread but to try and help answer your question, if it is a 3D printed helmet and you are looking for something that sands very easily, consider wood putty or window seal putty. Much of it is water based so quick dry and very easy to sand. After that i would consider a filler primer in a rattle can. You could also use a spray putty, but because it tends to be thicker, you may well lose some smaller details, like the side ear markings. Primer filler is great because it is also easy to sand and can be painted directly over.

I think you can save it Ian. If you have some scrap ABS you can use it to create a backing patch to go inside the shin. Then fill that melted recess with Bondo and sand it smooth. If you have no scrap, you can buy A4 size sheets of 1 mm thick HIPS on ebay which I have found very hands to reinforce the back of cracks in my armour. because it's thin it curves and bends easily and I usually use CA glue to bond it behind the surface that needs repair. You got this.

Just back on the blaster, it is not a requirement for basic approval to have a weapon, so you have some time up your sleeve even after approval to find something suitable.

Yep looks Identical just done in white plastic. Still looks more accurate than the Anovos basic TLJ bucket as they have the jib the correct shape on the black series, just a few construction lines that are not right. A few Mods and it will be pretty schmick.

Hi Bill We are in the process of a huge forum clean up and are working through sections at a time. As you can imaging with hundreds of thousands of posts, this isn't an overnight task but we will get their. Our main focus currently is correcting all the broken image links and watermarked photobucket images, and as we go, archiving old obsolete and irrelevant posts. I created a post for memebrs so they could post a link to threads where they found issues, see below. Would be great if you could make a post in that section rather than here.

Like Mario has mentioned above, not many if any come to this hobby experienced in assembling TK armour. The first cut is always the hardest but everything gets easier as you progress and learn new skills. By the end of it, you have the ultimate satisfaction in knowing you built your armour to fit you perfectly, and you will take pride in instructing others when they start their journey.
