  1. You are lucky enough to have a TK man cave, I would love to have one any size
  2. It looks like an RS Prop kit although it does appear it was assembled using the overlap method rather than but joint with cover strips. This kit also doesn't fit the wearer as well as it could and may not fit you the best either. If those limbs aren't joined as per the CRL it will need to be pulled apart and assembled correctly to gain 501st approval specially if you intend to aim for Expert infantry and Centurion. If its assembled with E6000, that is a very possible thing to do, but if it is assembled with CA glue, it would be quite difficult to pull apart and you risk damaging the parts. If they are in fact cover strips on the shins thighs and fore arms, they look awfully wide and would need to be replaced with narrower versions.
  3. This is coming along very nicely, well done Christine, looking forward to the finished product.
  4. The Vocoder looks like a separate piece, if that is the case it is SDS
  5. You are killing this build Andrew, keep up the excellent work.
  6. A similar if not the same snap as per Tony's comment are also called "Marine Grade" snaps. These can be found at marine supply stores, they are non corrosive and very sturdy. Think the kind of snaps used to secure tonneau covers .
  7. Wow, nice work Glen, where do you find the time?
  8. Looks like you double posted, but no photos in this one
  9. Hey Jeff, you should put some of this thread and the files if you wish to share them, over in our 3D section. Nice work bty.

  11. Mike (MTK) does sell his armour on ebay from time to time or you can deal with him direct. Ive built a couple of MTK kits and they are great. He also runs an online business called "Trooperbay" with a gamut of extras and accessories
  12. Well you got there Kirill, just make shore the sniper plate shin is on the opposite leg to your ammo knee pack thigh.
  13. Looking very nice indeed Brian, a very clean build so far. Keep up the great work.
  14. Cant say I've ever had issues with fans that had a strong smell and I have used 100's of them over the years in my fan kits. I think if you just let them air on your work bench or desk for a week or so they should be good. Look forward to seeing your build underway.
  15. There is an Aussie in there as well, Jeff Leone.
  16. Got mine off evilbay for $6 Australian
  17. I would leave reducing the sides until you have done everything else. Kit up and have some full side shots taken and post them up so we can see how it all looks. . Be mindful that the but plate sides should align with the kidney plate.
  18. Hi Mark, first I would remove a lot of the return edge, leave about 4-5mm, this will give the butt plate a little more flex so it wraps around or fits you better. Once you have done that you can work on how much of that extra tab to remove, but I dare say most if not all of it will go. The main reason AM kits have it is to suit larger troopers and you look to be of a close to standard size build so I see no necessity for you needing it.
  19. My patches arrived today, and i just want to say, they are beautiful, I mean, in the flesh, they are absolutely beautiful. Great work Jason for a great design, and to Brien for getting them done in time.
