  3. My pleasure David "troopers helping troopers", will be looking forward to seeing your Centurion application
  4. Just make sure you go over all the edges with some fine wet and dry sandpaper and get them nice and smooth or they can catch on things like the undersuit and gaskets. Also scuff all of the armor with sandpaper before applying paint
  5. It's nice to have separate build threads for weapons as some don't always look in armor build threads
  6. A flexing cod piece is very handy for those long stretches or bends down to youngling level, nice work
  7. First off best to try on your undersuit when fitting, normal clothes can make a difference but in saying that it's looking pretty good, you may find you may have to bring the ab/cod up a bit once you get your thighs on but time will tell. Just with the TD it normally sits just over the belt so that may have to come down a little. Nice work, keep it up
  8. Hello and welcome aboard, research is the key to this hobby, you have a bit of reading ahead of you, good luck
  9. Your images are rotated 90deg, they are also very small, you may want to take higher resolution images as your GML won't be able to see any details.
  10. AP don't make TFA armor. You may want to look in the FOBG (first order battle group) https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/218-first-order-battle-group/ This thread should be of interest https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49132-vendors-list-for-your-fotk-build/
  11. Congratulations and welcome to the EI ranks trooper
  12. Looking good, nice work
  13. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  14. Joseph has a nice supply list thread

  16. You could try a black padding, or even have some foam on the inside of your undersuit back.
  17. Good call on the overlaps, looks much better from the outside and is accurate Funny how much you can achieve when not sanding Taking a day off, what's this business "slacker"
  18. My pleasure, it's what we are here for "troopers helping troopers"
  19. Personally I think you would be better staying with what you have, if you modify you are giving more of a female figure look to the armor and really you don't want to stand out with other troopers. I would think if angled you would also have issues with the belt sitting correctly. Here's another couple of great builds for the smaller frame trooper
  20. Many aerosol paints can be clear coated, most of my armor and weapons are painted with acrylic aerosol paint and clear coated. That being said different chrome paint behaves differently depending on the clear used, I looked into gold paint once before, there are some clears that are used specifically for gold and chrome, I would check with the supplier of the chrome paint to see what they specify or recommend. Some helpful videos, check out his channel as he has other videos on different makes of paint and clear he has tried
  21. Nice work trooper, a couple of suggestions before the DO's get here: Your belt could come up a little, also watch the rotation of your forearms and left shin Backplate appears to be overlapping your kidney also your right shoulder strap is sticking up at the back Could trim the excess belt material as it's covering your holster rivets Looks like your right thigh has been trimmed offset at the back and coverstrip is not central Shins are not level on the rear Butt plate sticking out on right side Looks like there is some unpainted areas on the ridges on your vocoder Sniper plate doesn't appears to be following the shin ridge, you could also remove the curved area (note using your EIB photo as one wasn't supplied in this app) You have some return edge on your thigh ammo strip top and bottom Hengstler/counter could be closer to the magazine Also appears you are missing a cocking lever Button cover does not appear to be in the middle (top to bottom) could also be closer to the end of the belt Could also remove some of the curved return edge top and bottom Could you also add an image of your shoulder strap elastic The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. Also a close up of your "Han" snap A single male snap on the top right corner of the ab plate is present. Beautiful work on the helmet internals, I bet that is fun to put on Good luck with approval
  22. A little more info: "Stormtroopers, were the elite shock troops of the Galactic Empire. As members of the Stormtrooper Corps, an independent branch that operated under the Imperial Army, they served as frontline assault forces and formed the backbone of the Imperial Military. Indoctrinated to support the ideology of the New Order, stormtroopers were fanatically loyal to the Empire, making it impossible for them to betray the Imperial cause. With their signature white armor and the E-11 blaster rifle, stormtroopers became the face of the Empire on the countless worlds they patrolled throughout the galaxy." Although not seen in the original trilogy: "Rank was determined by a color coded pauldron worn over the right shoulder, with orange or red representing the rank of commander, black indicating an enlisted trooper, and white representing a sergeant." First order ranks "While in armor, the rank of a stormtrooper was indicated by the color of their pauldron: red was for officers, black for sergeants, and white for squad leaders."
  23. Not in the movies but there was something unofficial which our DL at the time came up with, info in these threads Image made from Paul's suggestion
