  1. Nice work a couple of suggestions: Your belt box is quite low, also in this image your butt plate is pushing backwards. Forearms are hitting handplates and large gap black area at elbows, bring forearms up/back You also want to rotate the forearms so they closely align with the biceps Belt box not aligned with end of belt Ab plates could be trimmed a little more, also no rounded corners, top button paint on large plate looks quite large Thigh ammo strip rivet very close to end You could match the paint on the sides of the vocoder, also remove a little of the paint from the gums Some of your black lines are a little wide TD clips should not be rounded near panel, also screws could be closer to the end of the clips There is a big gap between your belt cover buttons and the end of the belt. Also belt is very frayed As I say these are just suggestions, good luck with approval
  2. I've had a few Jim kits and not had any issues cleaning with soapy water but each to their own
  3. Warm soapy water usually works fine
  4. Once you get your ab and cod sections on you'll really be able to see how you are going and if you need anymore trimming. Nice work
  5. Great news, looking forward to seeing your build soon and those BBB photos
  6. You wanted to be able to sit! I can't in mine, well I can but it aint pretty and I've only done it once as I don't want to break anything. If you really want comfort and want to sit go for a Bikerscout, you can lounge around all day in one of those Just don't trim too much off to start with, best to try movement and gap with you ab/cod, boots, shins and thighs on. Also best to wear your undersuit and gaskets for a real true fit. Looking good
  7. Great build and application trooper, a couple of suggestions before the DO's get here: The larger ab plate should have a rectangle or plastic around the plate and no rounded corners, also you could trim the smaller plate a little more Normally the corners are not rounded on the thigh ammo strip and the radius not as curved You may have to remove a little paint from your teeth, does look like some is on the gums Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area Also the rim of the mic tips could be white (reference below) Looks like some silver on your blaster grip, the grip should be gloss black as it was a plastic part so no weathering (again only a suggestion) Belt could come up a touch as well Good luck with the application
  8. Congratulations and welcome to the EI ranks trooper
  9. Well it is specific to Finn as all the references are him but he wears different boots. There was a conversation about adding a Finn option to the CRL and someone did build one with those specific boots, but I can't remember why it went no further, post by our DL at the time (note: in 501st only section)
  10. I get the same funny clips off FB continuously from people, not as if I haven't seen them a thousand times before

  12. A lot of sanding but be worth it in the end, keep it up, the end is in sight
  13. I tried to fit a switch behind the light but there just wasn't enough room for me, so I ended up with a small push switch under the blaster in front of the trigger, can't be seen there. No way I was going to copy the working mechanism
  14. Just don't rush, rushing can lead to mistakes and remember it's not a race, If you can't make it to the first 1000 I'm sure you'll be in the march to 1500
  15. Nice work trooper, a couple of suggestions: Your "Han" snap appears to be a little far over, which you may have to adjust but that's up to the DO's You may want to bring your shoulders in at the top as you have a big gap, also thighs could come up, you have a big gap there Looks like your cover strips on the back of the thighs are angled
  16. Finn was a little dirty
  17. Nice work, no doubt Mario would have mentioned you are missing quite a few photos, but to start here are a few suggestions Buen trabajo, sin duda Mario habría mencionado que te faltan algunas fotos, pero para empezar aquí hay algunas sugerencias. Your detonator could come downwards on the belt. Butt plate is flaring outwards on the left. Also your right calf top ridge is overlapping. Su detonador podría descender sobre el cinturón. La placa de tope se ensancha hacia afuera a la izquierda. Además, la cresta superior de la pantorrilla derecha se superpone. Detonator end caps appear to be on an angle and there should be no gap between the cap and clips Las tapas de los extremos del detonador parecen estar en ángulo y no debe haber ningún espacio entre la tapa y los clips Vocoder paint is a little narrow La pintura de Vocoder es un poco estrecha Looking forward to seeing the rest of your images. Espero ver el resto de sus imágenes.
  18. That piece can be seen on some of the troopers in the promo photo but not on other troopers, Not on screen or display
