  1. Many thanks Sergiu, we did find a work around for many watermarked images so at least we have been able to save a lot of images here on the forums:
  2. Great work, it's just the extra print time you get stuck with but saves you so much more in pre paint work, I prefer the less hands on approach now and with 3 printers the extra print time isn't that bad
  3. I left some for strength
  4. Looks great, well done and a very quick turn around, now get these pics on your app
  5. I don't think he get's on here that often, last time he posted was May so this could be a dead thread
  6. Can't for the life of me find the adjusting tab method but here are a few options, these will work for bubble lenses too as long as you have some rim left on them Another Another Similar Similar
  7. I've not seen gloves made out of two different materials used before. I find using cloth liners to be a great help while wearing rubber gloves, they absorb the sweat and you don't feel the rubber, normally have a few spare pairs on a troop to swap them during breaks, nothing worse than putting a soggy inner glove on. Could be an option for you and of course screen accurate to use rubber. Also using the glove inners they actually seem to keep your hands cool, probably because of the build up of sweat
  8. Nice work. Adding some foam behind the shin may help push the sniper plate away from your thighs, you don't want to catch it while walking or bending
  9. I'm down under so I doubt it would be the same, it's just general hardware black silicon, nothing special
  10. Great news, research is the key, be ready for once it arrives, looking forward to seeing the BBB photos
  11. Ive seen a lot build where people use tabs which are screwed on to a base of thick plastic which is glued to the helper, if you leave the screws a little loose you could twist the tabs to allow the lenses to come out. A magnet system would work too, glue some plastic to the lenses in a few places, this would allow magnets to be glued underneath then glue magnets to the inside of the helmet. E6000 works the best for me when gluing magnets. I'm sure there are other methods around, I'll have a search when I'm back on computer
  12. I think you will find you need 501st access first https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/page/318/#comment-707126
  13. Looks good, the front should cover all the thigh lower ridge going on references BUT some armor just won't allow that due to the shape of them so don't stress about that
  14. I also find using a piece of cardboard inside helps hold out the glove so the handplate can sit flat on the glove, then use a book or other heavy item to hold down.

  16. At long last, what a ride, congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
  17. Normally 24 hours, well that's the one I use anyway, I would think most would be the same
  18. Depends on the silicon, sometimes I use E6000 or superglue but last time I use a black silicon and that worked best, make sure you rough up the guards and gloves a little with some sandpaper first, will help with adhesion.
  19. 23 Congratulations Jonas "LEGOeatPokemon" TK22423 Centurion 477 22 to go Charles "Templar726" TK72627 Centurion 478 (number was missed when first approved 2016)
  20. Congratulations and welcome to centurion trooper
  21. They can be a little difficult to stick in some areas, it's easy enough to pull back a problem area and re-apply, if you use a little force too it can help on problem areas. Using a pin can help for any air bubbles. You can use the old model making trick and apply with soapy water but it does take ages to get all the water out so you have to keep at them until you do. Lots of websites with info for wet applying decals https://www.carstickers.com/blog/post/apply-your-sticker-like-a-pro/#:~:text=You can apply most smaller, the area is still wet.
  22. I have snaps on my belt, can swap from ANH S to ANH H to ESB, very handy having the snaps
