  1. At this rate you may be Centurion this time next year
  2. On your kidney where you added the shims, you need to go all the way down and eliminate the kidney notch that comes with the kit. Since you're extending it you have to make new 22 x 22mm notches on the shims. I had to do the same thing with my MTK.
  3. The E6000 really isn't that smelly or strong in smell. Epoxy is a different story. I did 80% of my build in my kitchen on a fold out table with the legs extended high so my kids couldn't destroy it.
  4. Finish your shins and do a quick photoshoot to ask if everything looks right here. Once you get the nod, take another round of photos and submit to your GML.
  5. I would just cut out the area and not a complete circle. Since you're going to remove the return edge anyways it shouldn't be too difficult to make it blend in.
  6. They recast parts and looking at their prices for some replacement parts, they are very high.
  7. Hey, Tony. I kind of had an issue with my MTK bells. I ended up cutting nearly all of the return edge out the bottom so it would fit a bit better. It also helps a lot to put the shoulder bell elastic off center so they are rotated towards the front more. Try that and see if it helps before spending any $
  8. You honestly might benefit from getting her the newly upgraded AP or AM2.0 kit and using the anovos for yourself if you don't want to go through the hassle of shimming
  9. Off to a great start and wow that display is amazing.
  10. Steve, I think you have done this a time or two before. No way you're a rookie!
  11. I don't think ATA is going to be bigger than what you have now. Reach out to [email protected] for AM2.0 parts. I was able to get thighs and shins from him.
  12. Wow, I suppose that's about on par with homes around the Washington D.C. area that I'm familiar with.
  13. Hello? Is it me you're looking for? Location is a big factor in housing. $723,000 would buy a large house in the majority of the US. Easily a 4 bedroom house with a master bath and 2 or 3 other bathrooms, 2 car garage, well over 2,000 square feet.
  14. I just got an email from ATA last night that he was about to start my armor. I had forgot I put myself on his list a year ago but ended up getting my MTK the day after. Tried to beg and plead with my wife but she said no. Good luck with your build!
  15. Dude, just hand paint it. You'll thank yourself in the long run. My son came down with the Coxsackie virus last week. I had to leave work Thursday to help the wife take care of him and my daughter. He just wanted to lay on her most of the weekend. Poor guy looks like he has chicken pox all over but luckily he's doing better now and starting to heal.
  16. My wife is obsessed with watching these home remodel shows. One of the ones she was binge watching this weekend is called Love It or List It. They don't really say where they are but its easy to tell that the majority of the episodes are based in Canada. One of the things we were shocked to find out that most of the homes they were looking at were all over a million dollars Canadian. Is that the average cost of a house in Canada? I know that a million in Canada is different than here in the US but I don't think the exchange is that different. The crazy thing is the houses weren't even that big.
  17. Being a member of this great organization and surrounded by members from all over the world, I find it amazing that I learn something new about people's culture and way of life all the time. This is a thread to ask questions that you may be curious about.
  18. MTK has that built in ridge line so there's not much you can do if you need the space. Just trim as you need to make it fit you properly as you're already doing. I didn't have the answer to this at the time of my build and ended up ordering AM2.0 thighs and shins.
  19. Honestly look in the for sale section for B grade hyperfirms. Best "bang" for your buck.... see what I did there
  20. Coming along nicely but for pete's sake, rip off the saran wrap!
  21. Yeah... that. Just pull off all the plastic wrap.
