LOL, well the reason why I asked is because yours is customized to use the rechargeable battery in your chest plate. I will do this later on but due to crunch time of an upcoming troop I'm going to keep it all housed in the bucket and wanted to see how others have done it.
Now that I'm looking at your bin again I see my fatal flaw. I used one piece of fabric and E6000 the crap out of it in place then trimmed the scrap. Mine looks janky but it serves it's purpose I guess. I'll post a picture after work.
I just got Tony's awesome Hovi mics with the icomm, amp, PTT, etc. and his SHA. For now, I want to keep everything stock and not do his external power supply. Does anyone else have this combo and if so can you share your photos?
I got the fabric from there too and even bought one of those thin kitchen foam mats you stand on when washing dishes to line the bottom of my box. I got the much shorter Husky box so I can't give a lot of real estate up. I'll be working on this tonight and will post pictures on my build thread. Thanks!
I got the hovi mic tips, iComm, PTT cable, omni mic, rechargeable amp, and SHA. I think I'm one of the few people who have opted to not paint the inside of the bucket.
A lot of double, triple posting due to Tapatalk. I don't use it as I like the full version view of the forums. I use the full version on my iPhone/iPad too. I should be getting my bucket electronics from Tony soon.
Every Summer we hear about the shark attacks down under. I won't go in water that I can't see my feet and at the beach I only go about chest deep. Yep, I'm a wuss.
I picked one up last weekend, thanks! I ended up getting one of those cushy kitchen mats to put on the bottom. It's thin but adds some cushion and some star wars fleece fabric. Plan on lining the sides and bottom without taking up any precious resources. Stinks the little tool bin that comes with it can't fit with my armor.
Here's a question for our Ausie brothers and sisters... So I always see things on Facebook about how you should always flush your toilet before using it in Australia because spiders like to hide in them, some of the world's most poisonous snakes live in Australia, basically every wild life in Australia is trying to kill humans lol. Is it really that dangerous there?
