  1. You're going to be polishing the armor anyway so pull off the saran wrap! 1000 of TKs before never had any and survived lol.
  2. Wow, you got 2 sandtrooper diamond knee plates too. If you don't need them, there are a few guys looking for some to buy.
  3. The chest and back plate was a no go on the 1.0 version. This kit has been centurion approved many times. The one that swoops to the left when looking directly at it goes on your left shoulder.
  4. Get a mason jar or old baby food jar, put some fine shavings or small pieces of your abs trimmings in it and add some acetone. Let it sit for a few hours or overnight and then mix with a craft stick. Put some painters tape on one side of the hole and then brush the paste on as smoothly as you can (this saves time sanding). Let it dry overnight and smooth and polish.
  5. You're so organized! My build took up a folding table in my kitchen for like 8 months and it was a mountain of chaos.
  6. Just find Pandatroopers template, lay down some painters tape and cut out the stripes from the template. Instant tube stripe template.
  7. That one sentence alone is blasphemy!
  8. Check out ukswrath's anovos build thread. Until you've got all the flashing trimmed out you can't get an accurate sizing.
  9. Much better. You definitely don't want church bell thighs around your knees.
  10. The 0 will be at the bottom. I don't think it matters which scope sticker you use. I need to get those decals for my hyperfirm.
  11. I used nylon too. I needed it to close tightly and not have any play. Too much beer.....
  12. Congrats on getting your armor. Plenty of Anovos builds to follow and look for help
  13. Very cool looking and nice setup for the cover strips! You'll need to remove all the return edge on the lower part of the forearms.
  14. If you think your debacle is bad, for Level 2 sandtroopers (Police Officer), you have to have the bolts showing for the original strapping method. They don't have to be functional but have to be there. I use some black velcro along the butt and kidney on my armor to keep them aligned and to assist my snaps. Nothing internal wise will hinder your approval, it's more important to make sure everything is there and fits you correctly.
  15. Remember that CA glue is very rigid compared to ABS. If you have a crack in an area with lots of play or movement you'll want to reinforce it with a piece of ABS. Think of it as a type of splint.
  16. It wouldn't last very long in warmer environments and not as efficient as circulating air. Some fans are louder than others. I plan on doing getting the environmental sound system that ukswrath offers so I can hear.
  17. Either that or the bra clip method and if the latter, than no velcro at all.
  18. Well thanks a lot....
  19. Yeah the only thing that uses hook & loop to close is the shins
  20. Looking good! Painting > decals
  21. Everything looks ready to be assembled. Don't worry about rounding the corners off the ab 4 button piece. You won't be catching or poking any small child's eye out, stick to reference photos.
  22. I think you're pencil line looks like a good place to start trimming. You can always go a little more in on the swoop part if you need to.
  23. Before I bought bigger thighs, I had to shim my MTK thighs. What I did was get an ABS For Sale sign and used that as a shim. I cut it into a V shape and glued it on the inside of the thigh piece. Then you need to smooth out the shim and make it flush with the thigh piece by using a filler like bondo and painting it or use ABS paste from scraps from trimming your armor.
  24. Time to command the legion!
