  1. It should stop just below the top ridge. You can reshape your forearms with a hot water bath if needed. There are a few build threads that show you how to do it.
  2. Well that sucks. My wife found some on Amazon that is shipping so I guess we will see how that goes.
  3. Thanks guys! Brad, PM coming your way.
  4. Always check with LVL 2/3 requires and put in consideration. Silly to do something twice to go to the next step.
  5. Awesome work! Elastic for the shoulder bells and new knee plate and you're done! Everything else is easy. You should be ready for approval soon, hope to see that member icon change to 501st soon.
  6. Well the CRL for sandies requires white elastic. People used canvas and maybe that's an option for TKs still. Check the CRL to be safe!
  7. I have my return trimmed about to the top of that crap or even further. I would just trim it off. It does look stressed above that point so glue in a support bracket with some spare ABS.
  8. You could, you just need to leave some space to redo a return edge if you have them (I got rid of all my forearm return edge for comfort). I would leave it be though.
  9. Well at least you have shoulder bridges to cover the elastic. Us sandies don't so what I did was double ply the elastic and sew a boarder. Still has some stretch but made it a lot more rigid.
  10. I don't have a drill but I own a Dremel. I bought drill bits and used it.
  11. Does anyone have easy access to these Kinder Surprise eggs? I know they are banned in America for sale because dumb parents not watching their kids play/eat these and is a choking hazard. My 2 year old is OBSESSED with watching these youtube videos and since Easter is coming up soon I'd like to get my kids some.
  12. Congrats man! Just a suggestion for your EIB/Centurion: offset your shoulder bell strapping. It will make the bells rotate more to the front and eliminate that last bit of extra black showing. Great work!
  13. Trooper at is selling the strapping kit now too.
  14. Do you have to fold the rear seats down to make it fit?
  15. I'm sure this is beating a dead horse but wanted to see if anyone is using something different than the stanley/husky 50gal storage bins. I'm willing to get two separate bins to fit my stuff but ideally I would like it to fit in my trunk of my Honda civic. Taking out the kid's car seats is a super pain in the rear so if I can avoid this it'd be great.
  16. See how the top of the forearm has this scalloped or crescent shape cut out
  17. Looks good, just make sure you sand those burs down for a smooth finish.
  18. A-A-ron, if you need a little bit of space gap it some. So what you'll do is put the finishing strip on but not to the edge of the ridge line, then glue to the other side the same way. Or if you don't want to have extra ridge exposed, use a larger cover strip on the backside. Do you have your forearms scalloped some? I had to fine tune mine to eliminate some bites I was getting when I bent my arm.
  19. Hey, my daughter was 2 months old when I had my BBB day. Don't get me wrong, it took me a while too and a lot of grief from my wife for hiding down in the basement or on the back porch sanding ABS.
  20. You have a hand guard source in your own garrison now! I'm just teasing you since we started our builds around the same time.
  21. That came out really nice.
  22. From my understanding, the notches are 22 x 22mm. If you need to add length to your kidney, using the molded in cut out location, i.e. AP kidney, they would be much longer than 22mm. By going what you're saying and having the notch start where but butt plate meets would mean the notch needs to be longer than 22mm. I see from Pandatroopers thread asking about this, it is in the air until after elections.
