Use some of your trimmings and scraps and get yourself a jar with lid and put some fine shaving in there and top it off with some acetone you can get at walmart. Let it sit overnight. On the front size of the belt lay some flat sheets of painters tape then flip the belt over. Use a paint stick or craft stick and mix your newly made ABS paste and then brush it on the holes of your belt. Try to brush it as smoothly as possible in a few layers worth. Let it sit overnight. The next day you should be able to peel off the painters tape and have repaired your belt. You'll have to go back and hand sand it smooth with numerous levels of grit sandpaper, followed by some wet sanding and then polish.

Hey, I grew up and spent most of my life in the south east and just recently moved to upstate NY. Last winter in my opinion was horrible and this year it's barely snowed. No complains about that. If it snows more than 2 or 3 times in one Winter that's just too much. I never owned a real Winter coat until I moved up here. I just wore a long sleeve shirt + hoodie

I used zap-a-gap in a few places but the only place I can really recommend is gluing the latex/rubber hand guards to gloves.

Dremel followed up by sandpaper done the old fashioned way. Dremel will get the big parts and doing by hand will let you fine tune it.

Search the forums for kidney shim tutorials. I had to do it myself. Do it clean and use ABS paste to make the seam disappear from the outside

Understand not being able to buy it all at once. I took my time too. Keep an eye on your garrison forums because armor may come up for sale and can save you some big $ too.

If you plan on doing inner strips you should do those first. That way they are aligned before putting the cover strip on. E6000 is very easy to recover, I recommend using the freezer before using heat though.

Once photobucket is back up, you can download the photobucket app and upload straight to there. That's what I do from my iPhone. I just have to go on the desktop version and resize them or they are ginormous.

My garrison doesn't allow lone trooping nor would I ever want to.

Other than having thick thighs and having to cave in and buy AM2.0 thighs, strapping was the hardest part for me. It's a lot of trial and error and you really need the help of someone that has patience so a significant other might be the right person lol. If you have someone nearby that's in your garrison, they should be able to help you out a lot.

The length of the elastic shoulder straps varies. You want the back to contour to your shoulder blades as much as possible so you don't get that big gap around there. Then in the front it can vary how low you want your chest to go over your ab plate. On the shoulder bells, I cut a lot of the return edge off the bottom. Maybe 1/4" or less return edge on mine.
