  1. EVENT: Weird Al- Strings Attached TourLOCATION: Chastain Park, Atlanta, GeorgiaDATE: 30 Jun 19TIME: Muster: 5:00pm Kits on: 9:30pm. Event end: 12:00am.LANDSCAPE/WEATHER: Indoor and outdoor location, the weather was hot and humid when the sun was up. Cooled down once the sun went down. TROOPERS: TK-10401 - Cricket - Christine TK-17529 - Scimitar - Eric TK-32568 - LTM - Lou TK-62594 - Andrew TK- 42870 - Leigh TK-51733 - Beverly TK-31071 - Jason TK-11783 - Charlie SL-22431 - Scott WRANGLERS: Epic handling from Georgia Garrison members Steve Vitale, Scott Collins, and Mike Dukes. Incredible photos were taken by Georgia Garrison member James Clarke.REPORT: Weird Al came to town, and he was in need of eight shiny white TKs and a Vader. Not only is Georgia known for its abundance of Jawas, but we also have a very active TK community that steps up when called upon! Not only was Weird Al an amazing performer, but his support crew made us feel very welcome as part of their team. Pizza was provided for the troopers, and we even had opportunities to take photos with Weird Al and get an item signed by him! As troopers, we usually don't expect to come home with anything but maybe a cell phone pic and some happy memories. The kind of VIP treatment Weird Al's team gave us really made us feel special!REPORT BY: Cricket, TK-10401 I'm not the shortest trooper here! (I am next to her, though.) haha.... With the Supreme Nerd Leader! Besties!

  2. You have to wonder how he manages to get all of these suits. You'd think the armor makers would have him on the 'do not sell to this guy' list by now.

  3. Just my two cents here but I have had a WTF (Walt’s Trooper Factory) for the past three years and it has held up great. The pricing is pretty decent and his turn around times and customer service are fantastic. Also the details are good on mine and they have only gotten better in the past three years. I’m 5’9” and about 165 lbs and there was plenty to work with. I believe he now also has some options for folks that are bigger than me in the legs and arms department. Jim Moser TK50899

  6. How tall is your son? Or are the low-angle pictures wanted so that for once you don't look a little short for a stormtrooper?!

  10. Oh my goodness!! Thank you so much! I am so excited. The sniper knee did give my problems. Lol, when I went to take it off the first time, I was using an exacto blade and had a major uh oh. Lots of blood...lol. Is there a trick to removing glue? Ugh! At the very beginning of the build, I had no idea what I was doing and had to order a 2nd kidney/butt. So this armor truly has blood, sweat and tears. All of you in this group really are great. Thanks everyone so so much for all of your help. When I make the adjustments, do I post them here? The only one I'm afraid of is the ears. I will do the best I can. Thanks again Pam Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  12. Hi all, A little more progress made this weekend. •Faceplate and back/cap aligned and fixed (2x pop rivets either side. •Ears sanded and shaped to fit, holes drilled and ears fitted (temporarily - bolts in but nuts not fully tightened in theses pics) •initial opening up of the teeth. Used my favourite Dremel tool for this. Will use files for the finer work. Really please with it so far. I’m about 85-90% happy with the face and ear alignment. Paints are ordered so that’s hopefully not too far away. :-)

  13. I hear you about the gym, pretty active myself and actually quit putting on gains in order to keep the bicep armor as small as possible (may sound like bragging but I’ve trained for 20+years) for us gym rats it’s also important to keep in mind to bend the arms in a relaxed state when in armor, I can not flex as the armor is really snug but then again there’s no need to (I can still put on/take the helmet off) and I don’t get why anyone should, I often see that mentioned, that you need to be able flex - always wondered why. You have the E-11 for the Gun-showThe biceps are a distinct feature on the ANH Troopers and they are form fitting so as it stands right now we would ask you to reduce the size for Centurion. We are obviosly willing to work with you on this and if you are packning some serious peak on those biceps and unable to reduce the size of the armor we just need to see some additional photos showing that. Another option that might make it look acceptable, strong word but I’m sure you know what I mean (it’s really is only about the looks) would be to place some foam in there to even out the spacing around the arms (Armor centered around the arm). Having a really tight undersuit works wonders as well of one is on the bigger side, I was surprised myself what a difference that makes. With that said, I’m not the only one with a say in this matter so I might be in minority when asking this so you are free to submit and perhaps you’ll pass with flying colors You do look great and based on these photos I can’t see anything that would hold you from approval or EIB Centurion there are a few small bits to sort out for

  14. Hi, I uploaded a couple of photos that I thought might be missing. Both side of snaps on cod and butt plate and some action shots. I hope this is all that is needed. If anything else is please let me know. I just want to make sure you have everything that you need. Thank you very much.

  19. Just a little bit of video from Supanova setup 1/2 hour before the doors open, it was a shame the 25 meter space we had been told we would get was only 19 meters so had leave a bit of the display out, would have loved to expand the Galaxy's Edge section but people still seemed to enjoy it, and the Coke section definitely caught a few out 3.30 am (stupid pain) and day 2 is 6 and 1/2 hours away, going to be a long day.

  20. Here’s a few pictures of what the kit entails. I’m stilling finishing up my RS armor & the helmet arrived a few days ago, so I likely won’t get started on the R1 for a few weeks. 3D printed parts: Some parts are familiar, others not so much. The squares aren’t obvious to me. The arms and legs for the most part look like mirror images and are symmetrical. Thickness difference in the shin halves. Biceps in the foreground, shins and one set of thighs in the back, some hand guards, and 1 of 2 I don’t knows. And some boots I got from Groupon for $15. Obviously they need to be dyed, and a zipper added for Centurion, but for the price failure is an option.

  21. If you can afford RS I'd go for that being it's one, if not the most accurate ANH kit available. Anovos delivery is spotty and unpredictable at best and the details have already been discussed above. ATA detail is not at accurate or sharp as RS but it's half the price. I own a set and love it.
