Donostia, Capital of the 'Star Wars' Solidarity More than 300 characters from 'Star Wars' from Europe will parade on November 27 through La Concha and the Victoria Eugenia will host a concert on November 26. The legendary Albin Johnson will come to the events in tribute to the Blood Donors. It will be a special weekend in which Darth Vader and his family will 'work' on behalf of blood donors. "Solidarity will be the engine of the meeting, but all of Donostia and Gipuzkoa will enjoy a unique show, with a parade through La Concha of more than 300 people from all over Europe dressed as characters of the saga, and a unique concert at the Victoria Eugenia, with the Filarmonía orchestra of Madrid, in which a new anthem will be premiered", says Andoni Serrano, president of ThePinkForce Foundation. It promises to be a popular holiday, but getting here hasn't been easy. Andoni Serrano and his space hosts have been preparing "a unique event" for some time, but the pandemic has been complicating the process. " More than 20,000 spectators The organizers of the event in San Sebastian estimate that the parade will attract about 20,000 spectators. "This is what has happened in other cities, such as Seville or Malaga, which have hosted similar events." The march will end in the terreza of the City Council, "place where we will pay tribute to all those who have accompanied Blood Donors in their history, symbolized in the oldest donor and in the youngest". And for the fans, a unique moment: the participants in the march, dressed in their costumes, will be made available to citizens to take photos on the terrace of the Town Hall. The 501st Legion at the Victoria Eugenia on a visit in December 2019. Here's what the charter says about activity definitions: Operations Protocol/Membership An Active Member is defined as a member in good standing who meets the following requirements: Meets all 501st Membership Requirements (i.e. ownership of an approved costume, is over 18 years of age, etc). Has an approved membership record in the 501st Legion Membership Database Maintains active contact with their Garrison CO or GML. Active contact and participation will be confirmed during the annual Legion Census held each year during the month of October. Maintains contact information/membership record in the 501st Legion database either through their Garrison CO or GML. Participates in at least one Garrison or Legion activity per year while wearing an approved 501st costume owned by said member as recorded in the Legion Census. (One year is defined as the period from Legion Census to Legion Census). Hello! I hope this topic is fine, if not, feel free to remove it. So, whilst I've seen memes pop up every now and then, I haven't seen any actual thread with memes about the FISD. Because I personally love commenting the things in my life in memes, I decided to make a few memes about the FISD, based on things that I've noticed on here so far. Please feel free to share your own memes as well, if you've got any This was something that I had a bit of trouble with in the beginning... Perhaps some of you can relate, haha Don't worry, we appreciate it I've only been on here for a short time, but during that time there've been a lot of armors by Glen. Most impressive! Big Brown Box Day happened this weekend! I have a set of ATA stunt armor and will be slowly working on this project soon! I'll be sure to ask plenty of questions and share photos along the way! I'll also see if my local garrison has plans for armor parties in the future too.

Hello everyone, Hallo zusammen, TK-86098 -AKA Soma- reporting for duty from the cloudy Korbach, Germany (Hessen). I got my approval in September this Year, my armor is an RS ANH Stunt. I`m 35 years old and doctor of Medizin (Urologist :D). My journey and dreams started at the age of 10-12, as I saw some fan/scratch-made TK`s on the TV. I hoped to become one of these guys, once! As a student I never had the chance to own/build one. Now as a doctor I had to prepare myself to the specialist exam. As a motivation I promised myself to order the kit on the day, I have the paper in my hand. That day came on the September 4th, 2020. Am about to put the cover strips on my biceps and I realised that if I pre-shape the strips before gluing, I’ll have a stronger bond with less tension and better adhesion. So I’ve softened them up with a heating iron then placed them in their final position without a hint of E6000. Just a few (not too many) magnets to make them conform to the biceps (without squishing the cover strips themselves).

Congrats all. @jsilviusGreat work on the coin run. Taking on runs for the largest detachment is no small feat. You join an elite club of masochists.

I used to use a setup which went over the shoulders but now just elastic wrapped around a belt with snaps to the thighs. I use the plastic adjuster clips too so you can adjust if elastic stretches. Only have this image handy This should give you an idea, you don't need the Y piece but it does help keep them central I've seen some glue theirs to the thighs BUT you can't adjust then Some add to the ab but I find that a bit fiddly Shoulder straps you should use a strong wide elastic as your shoulders will be pulling on them. In some cases you need to double over the elastic depends how strong it is. Center snaps for shoulder bell strapping This one is glued on one side, but again using glue you can't swap out if needed

Well there's an option. I suppose I could grab the threads with plyers and use my bench grinder on the head of it, but it is hardened steel. It'll remove the finish but it'll be painted anyhow. Kind of a brute move but c'est la vie.

I have a rubber e11 for my esb tk which I bought from Sheartech in the UK, and I love it. In the UK it's very difficult to get hold of the original e6000 that is so popular, so I can't give a direct comparison, but I've e6000 plus at the start of my tk build and very quickly switched to alternative. E6000 plus is (to me) not much more than a clear silicon sealant, and not an effective glue (OK for things that don't need strength, such as ab buttons). I used Gorilla Glue clear contact adhesive on my tk. It's very easy to find in the UK, cheap, strong, and still easy (with care) to remove/disassemble parts when needed. Hope that's helpful

E-6000 should be fine, Tim. Just use it sparingly, and it may be a good idea to put a piece of tape over the other side to keep it from seeping out of the hole when you clamp it.
