Hello Chemi, I am also going to post this in the actual body for future reference. I will unfortunately not be able to take photos for sometime. So I am going to ask grace on my Centurion submission with this updated photo. My work schedule is not permitting me to be able to spend time right now on this. In this photo, you will see my removed TFA Cod Piece and the replaced TLJ Cod Piece. While I do not agree with this particular change, I respect it and appreciate it. Furthermore, let me just say, I appreciate all that you do and your guidance and please do not in any way take my challenge to the cod piece in any form of challenge to FISD or You or any other DO. It is just something I saw first hand. Anyway, this is the quickest I can get this photo to you guys and I am submitting this remotely. I hope you guys understand because I will be submitting the same photos for my Centurion. I will explain a year from now why I am not able to spend more time right this minute.3 points

Thanks for the great feedback! I really appreciate it. I'll make those alterations and adjustments before submitting to my GML. I'm definitely planning to go for EIB and Centurion in the near future.2 points

Looking good, normally you will find it's just some tweaking with strapping with RS builds and of course some positioning of things. Just watch how you are standing, your belt/ab is on a bit of a slant. You may want to add some foam behind your sniper plate to hold it outwards away from your thigh as it may hit when walking Match the heights of your shins, you can add some velcro or elastic with snaps behind which will help them stay down. You have a high point in your brow trim which you could bring down so it sits straighter. As you can see from the back, standing with a slant closes gaps, thighs are nearly touching, this will improve standing straight as well as bringing your shin down to the same level as the other. Also watch closing the belt, not quite closed properly, you have some sticking out on the bottom. On the sides notice the big gap behind your back plate, this could be because you are leaning backwards slightly or you may need to shorten the shoulder strap elastic. Also for your side photos you want to try to have the ab and kidney meet along their tops, they are dog legged at the moment. The holster straps are on a bit of an angle compared to the holster. Note the drop box is sitting under your belt, these are normally aligned to the belt. Nothing serious at all, just a little bit of tweaking. Good luck and hope to see you approved soon.2 points

Absolutely. And to the references gmrhodes13 kindly provided, I went and trimmed some more. Time to finish up the rough strapping entirely I think! I added elastic at the bottom for holding on to the biceps. And then I measured about 1 inch out from the tops. (My white elastic shoulder straps were about 1.25 inches from the shoulders) And glued down the straps on the inside. The next day is here, and I'm finally trying on the whole torso set. I'm so hyped! I feel like I'm in the home stretch. Couldn't do a side or profile at the time due to difficulty. I already know of the things I want to start adjusting first anyway: 1) There's no straps inside the chest to ab. Right now, the piece rides up and chokes me, also revealing too much of the underside. In turn, this is probably affecting how the shoulders lie. My left side has too much gap at the moment, which leads to... 2) Adjust the shoulders. The right side snap elastic needs shortened. Initially I glued the attachment too far down on the chest side instead of at the top. This was lazy and I knew it, as predictably, the white elastic hangs out the side. I'll be cutting off the end, sewing a new loop, and placing a new snap where it needs to attach on the new chest snap placement. 3) Add the white elastic bands on the back for the shoulder bridges. 4) Add snaps inside the shoulder to biceps. 5) Possibly switch out the left side white shoulder strap with one that can snap. This thing is wild to get into and that might make it easier for suiting up.2 points

Oh I forgot that detail. Easy update1 point

Oh very nice I just noticed in your photos of the forearms you are missing the grey dot or bolt on the picatiny rails. This can be a decal so you can alternate between TFA and TLJ with the same costume part currently. I'd have to check but this might be the same for your other application for TLJ. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): On the ridged rail the third retaining button head closest to elbow is to be painted grey or is a grey decal.1 point

The notch is fine as we see it in the movies, BUT not all on screen troopers had them, it was an adjustment for height, the taller troopers didn't need these mobility cuts as they had a bigger gap between the thighs and shins. We always recommend to finish off a build and try out the suit before making any mobility cuts1 point

Hi Chemi, not a problem at all and thank you for letting me know. Let me just make a serious recommendation for you guys, as this is absolutely wrong. I have not only seen but also worn the actual TLJ suit and the cod pieces are all over the place in shape and size and many of them are the actual TFA cod pieces. That is all I can say about how I know that. I have seen this discussion go on and on and it is absolutely wrong discussion. While this is true for some of the pieces, it is absolutely false in many regards. I have a separate cod piece and it is not a difficult replacement. I just want to let you know that it is an Absolute error we are making in FISD on this issue. They did replace the TD and Some Forearms of course as well as the helmet. But the Torso with the attached cod is all over the place. They have wide ones, narrowed ones for movement, rubber ones. So it will be a very bad choice to make to try and enforce this on future candidates. For me it is not an issue at all and I can supply a supplemental photo. But I think we would hurt our recruits and advancement. Example is the forarms and how they work. Not one on here is accurate compared to the real ones. I understand what you guys are saying but I have long disagreed with this and knew it was coming up. again all I will say is that I have worn quite a few of these torsos and it is not standardized.1 point

You absolutely 100% have my permission to use these pictures as you wish. I don't have much more to add at present, hopefully I'll be having a meeting with the scanners mid week so there may be a bit of movement but ideally I would like to have these out there before the end of the year.1 point
