Yesterday my HWT was finally approved! Here a few pictures: my Backpack (completely selfmade): my 3D-printed DLT-19 (self-assembled and painted):2 points

Thank you, comrades - all of you! Come on then - I'm looking forward to your pictures! Oh, I'd no files... I'd only purchased the finished items, which I'd then assembled, sanded and painted.2 points

Correct but if you copy the "BB code" link from Imgur you don't have to do any of that, it already has the IMG tags included, you just paste it into the post. Hey what ever works for people, our local forum is phpBB so we use the code and tags quite a bit, a bit old school but has so many more tools. Sorry for the derail, was just explaining there can be differences depending on what you use and how you use it2 points

Hi all! My name is Paige and I'm a nerd residing in Nashville. My boyfriend is just about to get his first armor kit and I'll be helping him build/potentially acting as a handler if there's need for it, so I wanted to have access to the build guides and other resources around here. Someday I'd like to put together a Phasma build myself, but for the time being I'm just around to spectate. I look forward to learning from all of you!1 point

Thanks! I’ll get right on it, thank you for the tip!1 point

Thank you very much, I think I’ll use velcro then, maybe it’ll allow me to keep that front edge as well, since it is screen accurate. For the gaskets, the material is quite shiny, and the color is fairly dark, but if it is an issue, maybe I’ll give it a coat of black dye.1 point

Gotcha! I have a printer myself and am on the hunt for good files. Hence the question. Great build, welcome to the Heavy ranks! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk1 point

Hey everyone! I apologize for the lack of updates, I injured my arm and it had to be splinted for the past few days, so I didn't get much work done, but here are the updates from before. Back/Yoke Here's the back/yoke, glued at the top. TIP: make sure to put lots of glue here, as this place WILL take a lot of stress. Also be sure to clamp it all down as well. Question: should the sides be glued or are they okay as it is? Shoulder Bells Glued in the connector pieces, looks pretty accurate in my opinion. I just eyeballed it, you can measure if you like as well. Gaskets I did pick up some gasket material, no templates yet, but I'm hoping to start working on them soon. And that is pretty much it. Until next time1 point

Nice DLT-19! What files did you use (or is it self-sculpted)? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk1 point

Hi there Not sure which state you’re in (I’m in VIC), but TDK Props gets my vote too. Tom’s a garrison mate so I’m probably a bit biased. Quite a few troopers in our garrison carry his weapons and they look great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Imperial Boots for sure, but with the new virus ravaging China their production might run in to serious delay.1 point

The blaster image they show it appears to have mold lines down the back of the barrel BUT the parts image shows it to be 3D printed? Just be waring with printed blasters as they do require a bit of work to get rid of all the print lines. I would suggest staying with recommended suppliers, you'll find lots of threads on blaster makers. For down under you could try TDK Props https://www.facebook.com/TDK-Props-537706609725029/ Some other threads:1 point

Unfortunately I've not found anything local that is similar. You'll notice the one you have found is not an S but a C (or U) ------------ Here are some comparison S trims and also a great thread here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/41006-source-for-s-trim/1 point

Just bought a Husky 22 inch Connect Rolling System Tool Box and the wheels are the same size as Husky 37 inch Mobile Job Box and the 35 inch mobile job box. Great idea and THANKS!! Definitely will need 2 sets in near future.1 point

You could possibly remove the additional pieces, and replace them with longer side pieces that under lap both the kidney plate & the abdomen plate. Make the side pieces long enough, so that the abdomen plate overlaps the side pieces by 2-3” both sides. Glue the longer additional pieces to the kidney plate. Bend a curve in the longer side pieces so that they wrap around you torso. Then the abdomen plate sits over the side pieces.1 point

Really could do with a little heat, because the extra pieces you have added are flat and not curved they will stick out.1 point

If it’s just the R1 TK helmet you’re looking to create seek out Nico Henderson’s amazing 3D file. It’s not listed in the vendor section here but you’ll find him on Facebook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro1 point
