  1. Thanks guys. I know it’s taken a while but the kit really is top notch. So much easier than a regular TK. Everything comes pre trimmed so it’s just a case of gluing it together. The Anovos instructions are awful. They say use Velcro almost everywhere like their OTTK. A bit of advice. Don’t bother with them. Make it up as you go along. In a few hours I’ve rigged the abs, cod, butt, legs and spats. Sure, there’s 2 seams to fill on the waist, and the yoke joint to fill, but my brother does car painting and said that it should be easy to paint match and feather in without painting the whole kit. The forearms aren’t great. The shape is a little wrong so I’m waiting on our GMLs input. All in all, it’s a great kit. Was I worth the wait? I’ll let you know when it’s finished. Would i pre order from Anovos again? No chance.

  2. Forgot to say that my red pauldron and FOTK kit came last week, minus the gaskets and the lid.

  5. Time flies and i was able to do some work on the blaster build again :-). I wrote that either the speaker or the wires are done.... the speaker was broken. I replaced it with a new one and everything worked flawlessly again. So i was in a very good mood to go on, to get this build done finally! I reassembled it completely again, to do a final function test. My mood was that good that i even did a video of some functions... Right after the succesful testing i personalized the blaster a bit. My TK ID i hammered into the back of the blaster Thanks for watching and commenting! To be continued quite quickly, as i want to have the blaster available at the beginning of August.

  6. Looks good to me. I expect a full on prop-replication of a full ANH ensemble next, real M38 and all.

  7. Hi folks, Hand painted details now underway. My previous build I used templates for the trap and tear vertical lines - this time, I went totally freehand. Whilst I’ve got a little touching up to do, I’m really pleased with how they came out. Vocoder tweaked a little, too. Thanks Daniel. :-) Please excuse the lighting - it’s not actually yellow in the flesh.

  15. Definitely trim. Looks terrible when people forget. AM kits are 'pre-trimmed', but almost everything needs a couple mm taken off. Make sure to trim your Thermal Detonator pieces and handguards down a tad as well, those are also easy to overlook.

  16. Hi Stuart and welcome back. I would like you to update the first post with all the required photos and remove those that shouldn´t be reviewed, that would make this process alot smoother - thanks

  17. That's great news! So now there are exactly 3 confirmed and shipped suits out of the 50 "shipped" months ago?

  18. Only the helmet on display I believe. They made 130 kits for production so every chance these are production used screen assets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  19. Hold on...Yesterday I discovered a product that will most likely make the shoulder straps between the back and chest armor wayyyyyyyy more simpler. Standby for an update on that product as I need to fully evaluate it. Everything I have posted up to this point is still correct and the only modification if this works out will be to the following materials: Quantity Length Width Use 2 15” 2” Elastic Webbing Shoulder straps for chest to back armor 2 10” 2” Velcro hard side Shoulder straps for chest to back armor 4 #24 4 part snaps Shoulder straps for chest to back armor 2 3” 1” Elastic Webbing shoulder armor to shoulder straps 2 #24 4 part snaps shoulder armor to shoulder straps
