Hi again Wayne - let´s get you approved shall we CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present and we like to thank you for making the changes suggested in your EIB application. You have a great looking set of armor and on behalf of the D.O team we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Centurion. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this area we discuss any areas still needing some improvement. Although they did not hold you back from Centurion, at this level it's all about the small details that will really make your armor look it´s best. Let´s dive in! Starting with the helmet and as mentioned, the brow trim could stand to come up a bit as most Stunts had some white showing between the eyes and brow. Next we have the mic tips and we see you replaced the mesh to a more accurate style which is great but you also pushed those a bit to far in as the previous ones so the suggestion to place them closer to the edge remains. If you decide to move them don´t be afraid to scratch the rims as that would only be a good thing as seen in the reference image Moving on to the back plate we suggest you look into the strapping as it appears to be a slight overlap, which is fine but as Centurion is the highest level we wanted to make you aware as we feel this would make your great looking armor even more perfect. Same goes for the belt and by the looks of things it´s as simple as just lifting it up and the pressure against the button plates should hold it but there´s always an option to use velcro if needed. That´s it! As mentioned you already have a great looking set of armor to be proud of and by considering these suggestions you would look even more awesome - welcome to the rank of Centurion2 points

Officially have started my road to 501st approval by doing as much research as I can and deciding to begin my journey by creating a full "ANH Hero Costume". I was originally going to start with building a TFA Stormtrooper but decided to start with the original stormtrooper. Since I'm located in Melbourne, Australia I have started the build with The Black Series Stormtrooper helmet from Zing. (See Picture below). Next on my shopping list will be the Original Stormtrooper Battle Spec MK3 Armour from Shepperton Design Studios. Interested what people have had to do to their Black series helmet for approval and what people think of the original Stormtrooper Arma. Please note I know next to nothing about making molds and things from scratch but happy to pay the premium.1 point

I tried that, not sure my Tapatalk app is functioning correctly because of the results I got. Thanks for the link Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I have snaps under mine, this was mainly for air transport so I could completely pull apart the clamshell to make the armor pieces fit into each other, but as mentioned they don't need to be functional.1 point

Thanks Daniel. Putting the rivet through a snap is exactly what I was thinking of doing. I like the strain relief you put on the other side; I'll copy that too.1 point

I didn’t bother reshaping mine. Changing the curve of both clips proved very tricky without the proper tools. The only thing I ended up doing was adding a little bend to the end of the clips. Keep up the great work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Hi Brendan, I agree the under suit shirt is a bit baggy, I have another one on order that should look a lot better and not bunch up! Thanks for the support! Cheers!1 point

Thanks T-Jay!!! It feels awesome! Now to start my E-11 build with your completion kit! Cheers!1 point

I would suggest using elastic for the drop boxes, when moving about they can get wedged and having elastic allows them to be pushed out of the way1 point

Hello and welcome to the forums, the black series helmet is styled off Rogue One and not approvable without a lot of work, so for ANH version you won't be able to use it, note that the Hero version also is different to standard Stunt, Hero only have 6 teeth, 3 ear bumps, only 2 ear screws and bubble green lenses. You can find a few other differences list in this doc: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view Also check out the base requirements for ANH Hero here https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_hero Not many go with SDS these days but you can find a few threads in the builds area and also EIB and Centurion sections. Yu can find some great info following others builds so do the research and I'm sure you'll be fine. The guys in Knightfall have a few armor workshops during the year so make sure you sign up on their forum: https://forum.501kfg.com/ Good luck and looking forward to the progress.1 point

I prefer elastic just allows some movement when bending and stretching, just use the industrial type elastic it's a little thicker than standard elastic. If you loop it over the belt while trial fitting then you can permanently sew in place once you are happy with the positioning.1 point

Yesterday my missing snaps arrived from RS including the right tools. Great customer service... Because I was a pretty tired from trooping on friday I decided to tackle something less complicated on the weekend and started building the detonator. Lucky me, I've already a template from my snowtrooper... I marked my endcaps at 18mm and started rough trimming them... Next up was the control panel, which was very easy because I just cut it along the curve. Dry fitting before final dremel-action... and the final result before glueing compared to my Snowie-DT1 point

Congratulations, you look AWESOME!! Small nitpick - looks like your undersuit may be bunching out a little between your shoulder bells and chest plate. Not a biggie, but a tighter shirt would resolve this Rock on, trooper!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Great work, came out a treat, just a note your belt appears to be on a slant, may need an adjustment1 point
