Doggydoc[Staff] Posted July 8, 2025 Report Posted July 8, 2025 Hi Justin, Your build looks amazing and we are really close to EIB approval. We just have a couple of dressing issues to correct and some modifications to the blaster. Posterior Armor Your Posterior armor plate is tilting upward in the front. This is likely a dressing issue and care should be taken to ensure that it is sitting straight. References Belt Your belt is sitting a bit low on the right side. Again, this is a dressing issue and should be an easy fix. References F-11D Blaster Please note that the corrections requested below are based on the current CRL, which is what we need to follow. Subsequent to our previous pole following the application from @equuspoloon the issue of variations in the D ring and pitcany rail on the blasters, we are planning on updating the CRL to allow these variations but are unable to currently due to Legion level changes in the CRL platform. Once we have these in place, we will be able to consider these variants of the blaster but for now, we need to use the current CRL as our reference. If you choose to not make the changes to the blaster, I can not give you a time frame for when the changes will be made. It will depend on when the new platform is fully up and running and we are able to make edits. The details on the left and right side of the blaster shown below should have some white accents on the raised ridges. CRL L1: Details to be painted black, white and silver per reference photos. References The D ring is absent on your blaster CRL L2: D-Ring shall be present on the rear end cap, rectangular in shape and painted white References Quote
TheRascalKing[TK] Posted July 9, 2025 Author Report Posted July 9, 2025 (edited) Thank you for the feedback, @Doggydoc. I have made some updates to my blaster, both noted here and in the feedback received for my TFA submission, and added new photos to my original post to demonstrate them, including a rectangular, white D-ring as noted in the current CRL. TK-8687[TK] Posted July 10, 2025 Report Posted July 10, 2025 Congrats on the submission, the photos and look of the armor are definitely quality! The belt being off ever so slightly, enough to halt the approval? I'm still new at this but keeping notes too when I eventually submit. I hope it can be overseen and approved given the remaining fit and look is impeccable. All the best and job well done man! 1 Quote
Doggydoc[Staff] Posted July 12, 2025 Report Posted July 12, 2025 Thank you @TheRascalKing Justin for getting those photos uploaded. The blaster looks great. Now we just need you to suit up once more with the correction to the belt and posterior plate and we should be good to go. With respect to these items, the costume is well approvable at this level, but for the sake of future applicants, we need to have everything positioned properly in the photos. I know that this is simply a dressing issue, but if we allow these “dressing issues” to be present, future applicants looking at the reviews for guidance need to have photos that clearly show the proper fit and placement of the armour. This way, they are more able to reference the photos for their own builds / applications. 1 Quote

Future applicants can note your feedback and I will watch for that very minor adjustment should I decide to pursue Centurion. Edited July 13, 2025 by TheRascalKing Quote
Doggydoc[Staff] Posted July 13, 2025 Report Posted July 13, 2025 Hi Justin, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. There are just a couple of dressing issues to watch when knitting up. Posterior Armor Your Posterior armor plate is tilting upward in the front. This is likely a dressing issue and care should be taken to ensure that it is sitting straight. References Belt Your belt is sitting a bit low on the right side. Again, this is a dressing issue and should be an easy fix. References *************************************************** Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. For Centurion Approval, we will need to to switch your gaskets to rubber ones. CRL L3: Gaskets shall be made of rubber. Fabric gaskets are not acceptable. References F-11D Blaster Your blaster is missing the pitcanny rail on the right side of the barrel. CRL L3: Blaster must have a picatinny rail on the right side of barrel References 1 Quote
TheRascalKing[TK] Posted July 13, 2025 Author Report Posted July 13, 2025 Thank you, @Doggydoc and @Deployment Officer Team. I appreciate your valid feedback and am glad I was able to be approved with it in mind. A lot of time and energy was put into this suit and those photos, and I appreciate @KC Grim and @equuspolo's assistance with my submission. I'll make some tweaks and we'll leave room for improvement at Centurion. 1 Quote
