  1. Nice job trooper!!! I am working on a Garrison Snowtrooper build in two weeks, so I have been slow to post in many areas. Trying to catch up. Kit looks great, Elite status approved. Now head off to the hanger, we have a little mess to clean up!!! Well done trooper!!!
  2. OK, 95% there. Things to address now, and I apologize for not having these all earlier in the thread: 1) We do need a pic of the boots (I know they are good, but we need them in here) 2) turc is correct, the strap for the drop boxers need to be white, per base standards. 3) I do agree the paint on the frown is a little outside the teeth, and again, per ANH standards, the paint "should not touch the lips" Because of your build, the biceps are going to be hard, and there is no "standard" to set them up or down, so that will be more of a taste thing for you, but will not impact any acceptance. SO, do you hate me yet? Hope not, you are looking good. Scott
  3. I guess we know where you got your screen name!!!! Thanks for the pic update, Status approved. I would say to report to the latrine, but with all the new Elites recently, those are pretty clean. You are hereby ordered to the garbage smasher in the detention level. Apparently a wookie :Wookiee1: was in there, and the drain needs to be de-haired!!!
  4. Almost there. My last request is to fill in the paint so it is consistent. And, if you square them up a little, it would not hurt. Scott
  5. A great way to do this is to push up the ammo box, and add a 3/4" outlet screw to hold it up. These are the finish screws used to install electrical outlets and other low voltage outlets. Hope this helps.
  6. I just want to see the shoulder strap upgrade, and you are all set!!!
  7. Looking good. Thanks for the additional picks!! Elite Status approved!!! Please report to the Elite barracks latrine for duty!!!
  8. I know they are flat, but a shot of them would be the final touch. Whoops, I forgot we need 8 teeth for flat lenses, 6 for bubbles (hero vs. stunt config)
  9. Looks great. All I need is a side shot showing the "no gaps"
  10. Tony, The way you can do it best is use a hosting site like photobucket, and then post image links on the thread. So, you would have text like: [img=www.yourimagelinkhere.com] There are probably other ways to do this, I have just used the hosting site the most. I would prefer the images in the thread for others to see and enjoy. I know your kit is golden, having trooped with you many times, but I don't want ANYONE to be approved with out the world to see their submissions. My word is not good enough on these thing Good to see your submission here brother. Scott
  11. Yea, what he said!! Also, I can almost tell, but I would like to see a side shot so we can see the gap (or lack there of). If you can't do these, feel free to box your kit up and send it to me for proper storage!!!
  12. Very well done. Your submission photos are very complete and show all the necessary details. Elite Status approved. Paul, will you please update this trooper to Elite Dishwasher #7 for Death Start Kitchen duty next week? Well done trooper!!1
  13. Looking good!!! There is no shame in being asked for updates and improvements on a new kit. Heck, even though we are a costuming club, one of our missions is to improve the quality of our costumes as time goes on. I know I would (if I were a GML) reject my own first attempt if it were submitted today. Take heart in knowing your kit is so close, that only a few small things will get you done, and then Elite is just a moment away!!!
  14. Yes, please. That will get them more in line and "connect" them. Also on the shoulder bells, do you have an padding under them? If so, I would remove it so the bells just sit on your shoulders, They just sit too high and do not look right. Please note your kit overall looks great. Just need to do a little fine tuning to get this done, but I am sure you will, as well as the little bit about the 501st access completed. Nice job trooper!!!
  15. Very nice!!! Congrats to our first Elite trooper with the grappling hook option. Very nice to have you among the Elite! Now please report ot the mess hall for cleaning detail. Paul, will you please update this troopers status so he can assume his newly assigned duties? Well done trooper!!
  16. Thomas, Looking good. Here are additional pics I would ask for: Pic showing lens coloring for bucket Pic showing blaster details Also, is there are way (possibly using 1/8" white elastic) to tie up the white nylon strapping you are using for the shoulder connections. Usually, these are black and blend into the undersuit. With yours being white, they tend to stand out a bit more than normal. This is not a "requirement", but more a suggestion for a super high quality, top-notch kit. Also, once you get your TKID, this will need to be posted in the Request Elite Status thread! Thanks,
  17. Very nice submission pics!! Oh, and nice kit!!! The issue here is screen accuracy, and while the Elite Requirements state no gap, I believe the screen used kits had the gaps in plastic, and the size of the actors made the gap simply be the connection of the ab and kidney plate. As it would not be accurate to require a lack of gap on a trooper who can wear a kit with the ab and kidney essentially touching, i see no reason to force a "no gap" requirement. Knowing 98% of us cannot pull that off, this is not a detail that is being over-looked, rather being evaluated on a trooper by trooper basis. So, after all that, Well Done Trooper!! Elite Status granted!! Paul will you please do the honors?
  18. Well done trooper, Elite status grated. I am sorry for the delay in this. With Melissa's tumor and surgery and recovery and all, I have had a few things fall through the cracks. Not an excuse, just the reality. Well done, and Paul, please update this troopers status so he may be clear to enter the Elite barracks and clean all the gold toilets!!! (it is your turn on the rotation). Nice job!!!
  19. I sewed a small (4") piece of white nylon strapping to the pull straps with a snap on the other end, and then added the snap to the inside of the calf. Keeps them in check with the boot, and is not too fixed to make it a pain. Scott
  20. I am not sure who all has them, but there was a Hasbro figure done. Don't know if that will help for the CRL, but here it is: Just offering
  21. No doubt. I am doing my Cody using OSCS, and I am just thrilled with the details!!!
  22. Nice job trooper!!! Kit looks good, and very nice work on the MR CE bucket. Elite Status approved! Paul, I am sure you are all set to make the status change, so please do so!!!
  23. Welcome to the show, troopers. Please report to level five for cleaning duty!!!
