  1. No, Mike didn't assemble this one. I believe TE2 did.
  2. I tried, but him inbox isn't taking any more message.
  3. Hmm. Is it spray paint or would I need some sort of air compressor spray gun to apply it?
  4. Hey guys, I have a beautiful TE2 helmet and I want to paint my new armor to match the helmet. Does anyone know how to contact him so I can find out the exact white paint he uses on the helmets? It would be unbelievably helpful as I am nervous about painting and would like the colors to match. Thanks skutch TD/TK/CT/TB-2243 td2243@gmail.com
  5. Hey SC, can you fix the picture? I'd like to see what you posted. Vern, what would I clear coat the armor with I'll have to look up what wet sanding is? Would the clear coat be after the paint job I'm assuming? Thanks
  6. Hey guys, I'll be spray painting my new armor build very soon and I wanted to get some input as to what paint to get. It's a TK-ANH. I want it super white and glossy. skutch
  7. Hey there, I'm on the EIB listing (#44), but I've moved from NYC. I'm now in New Mexico in the Dewback Ridge Garrison. Can someone fix that on the site? Thanks Daniel
  8. If this helps, here is my TK helmet, which was built from Tray's kit. His kit comes with everything and Tray is 100% legit. His armor is top notch so the gear he sells is the same. The only thing I swapped out was the painted looking decals instead of the ones he provides. His are great, I just wanted the painted look. Everything else is hand painted and I used the same humbrol paints used in the films. Dark Ad Gray and Midnight Blue. I totally recommend this helmet.
  9. There are a couple of guys in the ECG who have done that. With the dremel, it looks so clean you can't even tell the holes from the sticker unless you are close. They even put the fans there.
  10. I hear that about the funds. When I first did my Sandie, I bought the armor first. Boots shortly after. Then, bought the backpack later, then the hyperfirm after that. I had to keep buying in phases as money allowed. I'm happy with how it turned out, but I had never even heard of AP or TE armor at the time. I knew no one in the Legion either, so I did everything on my own. I wish I had known of these boards back then. Would have saved me alot of time and bloodshed. Interestingly though, after I got the FX bucket, I KNEW instinctively that it was goofy looking. Only after seeing how large it was did I upgrade to an AP helmet. Made all the difference.
  11. It's all good. Would this work at all? (Yes, I affixed a removable laser onto my E-11)
  12. http://www.whitearmor.net/elite/detail.htm?tkid=5907 This background wouldn't work? The perspective might be okay with the top of the door and ceiling. If not, I can search for a better pic. Let me know. thanks bro.
  13. Did that last picture work for the Elite page? Also, use this one for my "headshot".
