  3. Hi Shawn, looking good with your helmet. When in the teeth and hovi mix tips painting stage consider the reference images to have the best look. Crl for basic level : Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area Crl for L2: Correct Aerators/Hovi-MIX tips are present. Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white.

At this Stage (painter's tape stage), they looks good, probably you 'll need to use wider cover strips in the back, they are ususally 20 cms in the front and 25 cms in the back (you could increase back to 30 cms) but I would think in this issue later. I would suggest not to trim more and let the back cover strips till de final. continue with the great work on your armor.

  12. Hi Rob, for me , the helmet is the most challenging part of the armor build. Glen has gave you so useful info and I can add the following saying: "Measure twice or more, look at , others build thread, reference photos, and trim and glue once" Good luck and looking forward for your advances.

  17. Hi, This painter's tape fit looks good, in most cases there' a minimum gap in Back/Kidney , I should wait till the strapping stage to look how things match.

I'm sure you're going to make your dream come true. remember. Post Tons of photos, ask questions, review the CRL reference photos , other troopers build threads, measure twice or more, cut and glue once.
