  1. I did it the screen accurate way, but one side is velcro’d so I can break the arms down for cleaning/etcetera.
  2. Great attitude to have, no use in rushing. Seen way too many people here have to re-buy things because they couldn’t wait.
  3. We are all in the same boat. Going to be a flood of FO TK's in the Legion when these things finally start to ship.
  4. Coverstrips should line up, like 'B', but your elastic is incorrect in both options. Should be to the side not right on the joint if that makes sense.
  5. I believe they first went on sale in June/July ‘16. I ordered mine about the same time as you did though.
  6. Did you pre-bend the reinforcement strip? If not it could be causing deformation.
  7. They aren’t. If you see the film suits you’d realize that’s perfectly acceptable.
  8. Looks pretty close to me!
  9. Straighten it out and add some padding to the kidney plate if needed.
  10. Things always get better and we all have rough patches. Hope your health issues sort out. As for helmets I agree with above posters, Troopermaster (the seller) knows about as much about these suits as humanly possible and his armor is super accurate. RS Propmasters is essentially a recast off a screen-used Stunt, can't get much more accurate than that. You can also check out The Replica Section or The RPF which are more focused on prop replication/forgery if you are wanting to get something that looks like it came right out of the film, there is tons of reference on how to replicate everything down to the paint chips.
  11. As mentioned in other threads, spats and TD (or lack thereof) are other differences, FWIW. Cod may be different as well (it is on the regular FOTKs).
  12. FWIW, the Anovos belt... sucks. Any of the belts you'll find on here/Trooperbay/etc. will be more rigid, so no holster sag.
  13. A quick eulogy to my favorite childhood toy store and 501st-friendly retailer. Many Force Fridays and LEGO events were trooped on your soil. You shall be missed.

  14. If you go the heat gun route try on some scraps first, very easy to overdo it and make it worse.
  15. He isn’t on the forum. Google and you’ll find his FB/eBay.
  16. Looking good, I am not an electronics guy so well done.
  17. VaderPainterStudios sells aluminum aerators.
  18. TFA will be easier to build as the finish isn't mirrored but slightly dingy, and parts have been around for a couple years so more vendors and the kinks have been worked out for the most part.
  19. Did you maybe turn them off in the phone Settings > Notifications area?
  20. I think “should” is a good loophole in those cases much like shoulder bell gap?
