  1. Yep, do nothing is my vote as well. Clear spray paint will make that Sharpie bleed everywhere as will most any other sort of paint/sealant.
  2. Probably best to ask at the Sith Lord Detachment as they manage that CRL: http://www.501stsithlords.com/
  3. He sells just the mesh too. I have pics in my build thread.
  4. Wow, I'm surprised QC let that pass, those eye returns are way off. Nice job.
  5. I would still suggest attempting to build your kit. Great experience and if you ever decide to do a First Order, Deathtrooper or any myriad of other costumes a great way to get your sea legs as they are even more work to assemble.
  6. Details look extremely soft (probably a recast?), ab buttons appear to be molded into the chest, looks like very thin plastic, possibly not even ABS. I mean, you can certainly buy it and make a suit, but I don't think it would hold up to trooping and IMO it doesn't look all that great.
  7. I'd specify no paint for the upper right ab snap too, just to be thorough.
  8. Legends and Canon are kind of contradictory, but AFAIK since they had them in the video game they're perfectly acceptable.
  9. I don't see why they wouldn't be the same shape, the TFA ones are.
  10. They raised the OT TK to $900 ($1100 with soft goods) as well, not to mention their $2000 Han Solo ensemble, they've been bumping up prices here and there the past few months. At these new prices they are no longer the best option for a lot of people, but hopefully this is a sign they're getting their business affairs in order and not a 'last hurrah'.
  11. As did I. It worries me that Anovos seems to be raising prices so substantially recently.
  12. Wait for the Black Series one IMO. That one looks pretty accurate. This... is a toy.
  13. Better than nothing!
  14. If you are talking about this one - https://trooperbay.com/stormtrooper-neck-seal - they sell them in various sizes (in inches) and have a measurement/fitment guide in the description. I don't see a S/M/L/XL/etc. option. You may want to email them and ask if they add any wiggle room though. It doesn't say.
  15. Isn't Imperial Boots doing the Trooper7 boots in red?
  16. Awesome, congrats. Have fun on your first troop, learn everything you can, drink lots of water and remember that stairs Jedi are the enemy.
  17. If you can find the boots and dye and are willing to put in the work, thats how the films did it so you can’t get much more accurate than that.
  18. ImperialIssue belts can be ordered to size, with Troopebay you are stuck with 52”. I have one of Rob’s (ImperialIssue) belts, and a second on the way, and they are very well made.
  19. Very rare for costumes to be identical across films but if true it would make our jobs easier.
  20. As an Anovos owner, I'd look elsewhere. Nothing wrong with the product but you can get just as good if not better stuff for the same price without waiting a year+.
  21. Congratulations.
