  1. Wow fantastic job on the component installation, like Glen "Nice and neat"
  2. Fantastic job Ardeshir congratulations on another fine set of armor
  3. Well it looks like we know who Disney gave the licensing rights to. Wonder if they'll ever make the full kit? Doubt it but hey, doesn't hurt to hope for the best
  4. Copy that
  5. Wow wasn't aware RS had an incident, tragic on many fronts
  6. Fantastic job Bret, congratulations, again
  7. Fantastic job Ken, good luck with your application.
  8. After a few years of trooping and hanging on a mannequin my elastic stretched, velcro was a great alternative.
  9. I used to glue mine then I started using an easier and more logical solution. Simply sew the top loop to fit your belt. At the bottom (thigh side) sew in some velcro (non-adhesive, hook side, 3-4" worth 2" wide). Apply the loop side velcro with adhesive to the inside of the shins 4-6" worth, Install and adjust as needed.
  10. I'm not aware of anyone making them but if your interested I made a DIY HOW TO thread a few years ago that's still relevant. NOTE: You may have to search around for suppliers, not all the ones I suggested continue to carry the items. Most links are now updated
  11. Hey Angela glad to have you back
  12. Coming along nicely Justin, glad you have pep in your step
  13. Welcome to the FISD Cory, looking forward to your build. Awesome helmet setup btw
  14. Hey Tim welcome to the FISD
  15. You can do this Rodney, you're almost there. We've all been where you're at brother
  16. Hey Robert guess that's a big welcome back , Your situation is probably more common then you think. Good news is you don't need to be a 501st member to have access here. Someone will be with you shortly. Maybe Paul will chime in here as well seeing you're both from the same era. See you around
  17. Well technically they're supposed to be universal, but obviously they need a little adjusting, I'll work on that thanks ATA I believe has the smallest TD tube dimensions of all the armor suppliers. I haven't heard from anyone else regarding fitting issues but I'll be sure to ask around.
  18. With the exception of one costume I've pretty much have built every other. There's something satisfying about doing it yourself then taking it to L2 and L3, very rewarding. This is strictly my opinion of course. The FISD will support you either way you decide to go.
  19. Nice mods on the TD clips. Maybe I'll make a design change for the ATA customers. Keep up the great work
  20. Welcome to the FISD DJ
