Welcome aboard Rev, the guys have given you some sage advice. Bear in mind non of us had ever built Stormtroopers armor before we joined up, so you are not alone. Patience and research will serve you well in this hobby. Good luck on your journey. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I actually glued mine, then trimmed the bottom. Just follow the contour that is there. It's fine if the rear doesn't sit quite right. If you are using Velcro as your rear closure they will align when closed. (If that makes sense) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Amazing work, you are so talented. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

That is fine and pretty standard for most kits. Align the tops and trim the bottom to match. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Is RSpropmasters legitimate business?
Sly11 replied to civitanom's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
You will have no problems dealing with these guys, we have quite a few Troopers in Australia that rock RS Propmaster TK armour with pride. It looks great and they are all very happy with the service they recieved. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Welcome to the FISD. All the story's above are absolutely true, research, patience, never , ever built armor before, and that OMG moment when the big brown box arrives and you spread all the bits out on the floor for the first time. One thing I learnt. "Never underestimate your ability", you will surprise yourself I am sure of it. And besides, it is awesome fun building the kit yourself. We are here to help, so when ever in doubt, please ask questions. Good luck on your journey. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

RT-Mod is great armour, but he may have quite a long waiting list. AM has undergone improvements which has made it easier to achieve the higher levels of approval, but is absolutely fine for basic, as long as you assemble it to fit you (that goes for any armor). AP is great armor, so you shouldn't have any trouble on selling it, certainly try doing that on here first or in your local Garrison before you go to eBay . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hi Michael As Khazid has mentioned in the above post, deffinitly get in touch with your local Garrison/squad. Research is the key to this hobby, and yes this website can be overwhelming with details, but never fear we are here and most happy to help. Looks like you have started off in the right direction, and from all reports AM armor has improved from the older kit. I have personally helped assemble the previous version for a large trooper, both in height and width. (Security dude, 6'4" and broad) Secondly I would like to say, never underestimate your ability. We all started out like you, who honestly has armor building skills from the outset. It is not as hard as you may think, you just need a few key tools and learn as you go. The first cut is always the hardest, but the learning curve is good with a very basic rule to apply. "Measure twice, cut once", this will make seance soon enough. Nothing can replace the pride you will have when somebody out on a troop, or at a Con asks, "where did you buy your armor"? and you respond, I assembled it myself. Very satisfying experience i must say. Good luck on your journey, ask lots of questions and get along to a local armor party. Cheers

Hi Manuel Here is the Zip file for the Code I am having trouble with. Basicaly Weapon 4 TIE blaster sound, will not work and the green LED will not activate. Perhaps i have the sound files in the wrong order on the SD card, but everything else is working. e11_v06_en.zip -
is everyone just sucking it up and paying £25 for DD shipping?
Sly11 replied to UCLAJediKnight's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
Yep Tim nailed it. As the Australian dollar plummets, the cost of anything from the U.S. And even worse, UK goes through the roof. Currently US for my dollar I get 70c. For the English pound, I get 46c add PayPal crap exchange rate and we lose approximately another 3c . Buy your Doopys kit with confidence, that it will arrive safely, and you are still paying considerably less than me for it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
On the ball as always I see Glenn. Great work mate. You can always 3D print parts for this as well , when you run out of old funnel ends Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

TK31713 - Requesting ROTJ Centurion Status [CFO][182]

Congratulations Chris, welcome to the ranks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
You can do a Doopys pipe build, that will give you room enough for electronics. So you get all the bits minus the barrel , which you purchase a length of PVC pipe from your local hard ware store. There is a template in the E11 section, that you print out and wrap around the pipe the drill all the holes on the correct positions. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I am stuck.......the code section I have added as Tie fighter blaster is not working.. Basically I and running with 4 weapons modes. Ell blaster, rapid fire, stun and the Tie, but for some reason the first 3 activate and the green led and sound for tie do not. The code looks good but I must have missed something. Poodoo!
