How to Remove Undersuit logos?
Sly11 replied to Hermanator's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
I'm with Eric on this, I would highly recommend keeping heat away from Lycra . You can also buy fabric specific black pens which do not wash out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Michael, aside from those last challenges you had, your armor looks awesome, you certainly look ready for battle to me. Well done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

TFA Stormtrooper Baton Build - Not Accurate

It's become quite apparent to me that you never sleep, always coming up with something, and again it looks brilliant. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Your shoulder bells do need some work. Length can be reduce a little but also the width of them looking from front on. This is an easy trim which I recommend you do before you shorted the length. Measure two lines, one where you think they need to be trimmed back to and one half way between that line and the edge. This is your safety net so to speak. How do you mark the line evenly and trim evenly, I hear you ask, easy. Place the Bell flat on a table now grab a pencil and some coins and work out how much to trim off starch the coins, even tape them together with the pencil on top. Slide the bel up to the pencil/coin stack and slide the bell all way around leaving the pencil stationary. This gives you a very even trim line all way around. Then you get your work knife and space it to the same height, when I did mine I had to go out and buy a smaller knife as I only took 5mm off mine. You use the same method with the knife stationary and carefully with light pressure pushing the bell against the tip, scribe your cut line around, then repeat a few times so as to make the cut slightly deeper with each pass. Then snap just like you would when making cover strips. If this isn't making sense I will try and find some photos to show exactly how this works. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sly11 replied to CWard's topic in Request Centurion Status
G'day Chris, well here we are......Centurion application. well done for coming this far, so lets see what we have. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: Thank you for making the requested modifications onthe shoulder bells and knee pack from your EIB application, I'm sure you will agree those little refinements make you look the best you can look. All required photos are present, and your armor contains all necessary elements for Centurion. That being said, Congratulations!!, you did it. A good clean application is always a pleasure for us to go through so thank you for making our job easy. There is only one suggestion I have in relation to your Butt plate. It seems to stick out a bit on one side. I think by adding an extra strap or moving the existing one closer to the end might just alleviate that problem. Now get out there and Troop your Centurion butt off. -
We need more good people like you in this Detachment Joseph, what a gentleman!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

TK 93500 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status [RS] [514]
Sly11 replied to IceStormTK's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hey Roy, thanks for your application, so without further delay, here we go. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required photos have been posted. Your armor contains all the necessary elements to qualify for EIB. With that, we would like to congratulate and welcome you to Expert Infantry. Congratulations!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Commission builds are always interesting as you never know how they are going to fit until you first put it on. RS Prop have done a great job as the armor fits you well, but there are always going to be one or two little things that need fine tuning. As your fellow troopers have mentioned, those top straps on your Shuolder bells could be shortened so the Bell top touches the bridge. Centurion Suggestions: Your Ab and Kidney alignment were a topic of discussion between Tony and myself, so we did some research and a bit of digging as we wanted to ensure your best interest were in hand. We discovered that this alignment is standard with RS Prop commission builds, so the below comments and photo regarding this are only suggestions to make your armor look as accurate as possible and will not effect any future approval. Below this are also some suggestions for the positioning of the snap on the opposite side, Ab and Kidney alignment Your armor Alignment on a screen used set of armor Snap positioning on right side. The snap should be closer to the seam, where I have placed the Blue circle, this can be achieved in two ways. Either by trimming off some surplus material to the (Red line), or moving the snap to the(Blue circle) position, making some ABS paste and filling the old hole. This is a mod we would really like to see, if you have the extra space, trimming and shortening the internal straps would be the easier option. Photo of original armor right side snap postilion. You have a beautiful set of armor and should be proud, Congratulations once again, and we hope to see a Centurion application from you soon. -

TK 66668 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status [AP][469]

Wow at 6'3" AP is a real stretch, but at the end of the day, a good build is a good build, and we don't discriminate on the size of a Trooper. AP is about as small as armor comes. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Sly11 replied to CWard's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hi Chris, thanks for your patience and welcome to your EIB review, lets get to it. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All photos are present and your armor represents all necessary elements to qualify for EIB. With that I would like to congratulate you on your new "Expert Infantryman" status!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Overall you have a very well balanced armor build, nice work Chris, it makes Tony and my job an easy one with the quality of builds we have coming through of late. Next stop Centurion!! Centurion Suggestions: As mentioned by your Trooper brethren, please shorten up those top shoulder bell straps, so the Bells virtually touch the shoulder bridges, also yes if you could bring the fore arms up to decrease the gap between the tops of them, and the bottom of the Biceps. Knee ammo pack, not quite sure what is going on here as we only have a clear shot of the outer rivet placing but make sue you take a photo of both sides for your Centurion application. It does look slightly lop sided from the front and rear photo, but if you want to take that shot and send it to me in a PM i can have a look and maybe suggest what can be done to sort it . Thanks again for your application and welcome to the ranks. -
