Slowly coming together. Back plate needs to come up and judging on the size of the chest plate means the shoulder straps will need to be short or the overlaps will be too big. When test fitting parts it’s always a good idea to be wearing the under suit so your adjustments will be more accurate. Keep up the good work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All good advice given but use a better paint than Rustoleum, there are far better brands that last longer and are harder wearing. Enamel paint is definitely something to think about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use a suitcase you stack parts inside parts but I do have a seperate helmet bag. Basically it like a bowling ball bag with my TK ID stitched into it and FISD shield patches and rank patches added. [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It is money well spent. We bought one from Ali express and its still going strong. Make sure you get a reasonable size so you can fit larger items in it. I am considering making a larger version with heavy duty PVC pipe ( industrial grade) the type used for under ground piping, sealed at one end with a silicon gasket and Lexen window at the other. The existing pump should work fine just take more time to evacuate the chamber and draw the bubbles out of the resin.

Sorry to hear Daniel, I made the mistake of purchasing a file from them almost 2 year ago in the hopes it might be workable, alas, I should have known better myself. There files are great for Cos players but not good enough for 501st or anyone that loves the finer details of accuracy. Its great if you have the time and skill to create the files yourself and of course the ultimate level of satisfaction it can bring. Good luck

So the kits that you guys have built, be it Anovos Alpha, Betta, or other makers, What is the average spend once complete? The Anovos from GE sounds rather expensive so if you were to add a labor component and professional paint job to your kit build as well, does that $6k plus price tag still look very exorbitant. I'm not taking US vs other currency into consideration, nor a retail mark up, more an interest in where the price ends up as a rough comparison.

The return edge is subjective. In the film many of the suits had no return edge on the biceps, I left a little on mine as it gives the impression of some thickness to the armour. In the end your comfort is also important so if the parts are sized and fit well you can leave some return. The only parts stipulated in the CRL to have no return edge at the higher levels are the wrist end of the forearms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only a suggestion, but you could also reduce the amount of return edge you have at the bottom of your chest plate. It will allow it to sit closer to your body and then you can re align your shoulder bells to suit as Paul has mentioned.

We have a member in our garrison that went the PVC RS and I can concur, it cracks, all over the place. He has had to reinforce the inside of the chest plate, and as he also went the bracket system for strapping all have cracked through as well. He has made extensive repairs and is now going to convert it to a sandy it has become that bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your biceps were actually only a touch too low but your forearms were a little too high up the arm. You can wear those lower to lessen the large gap between your hand plate and the bottom of the forearm but overall looking very good for basic approval. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
