  1. We do our best to educate, but unfortunately can't get to everyone prior to them spending credits..
  2. Pricing seems a bit high too.
  3. Yesterday I came home to find that I must have been a good trooper this year as Santa Dashrazor had been through town (or more likely used his USPS elves) and deposited boxes on my door. What could be inside I wonder? Should I be a good TK and wait for the 25th, or being a Curious George? Alas, I was born in the year of the monkey so opted for the latter... Hmm...well packed at least. Must have been cold up there in the North Pole (or maybe he's on Hoth? :snowtrooper: ) A new helmet! Just what I always wanted. The paint job is perfect and captures every detail - including correct ears. Hey - isn't there a second box? Could it be what I think it is? More attention to detail! Correct door trim on the chest, and look at the biceps! Even a little flange to keep the strap in place. Thank you Santa Dashrazor!!!! And yes, more pix will come soon.
  4. Late to the party but that Fives is wicked. Did you do that shoulder bell freehand? Amazing!
  5. Way to go Noel - hope that sniper plate doesn't fold under though. Looks like a pass for EI when done too. And, Centurion?
  6. No pointers to really add other than to say that this armor looks really good on you. Handplates look huge - you may want to try regular sized ones and see how that works out. Maybe it's just me, but are those shins on the right legs?
  7. I think you did well for a first troop - it's not uncommon for there to be gotchas for a few troops in new armor as you dial it in. You look good - and I'm sure it will only get better over time.
  8. Things change almost monthly with ATA and SuperTrooper should really jump in with the latest. He's out on family vacation with no real Internet access, but I'll forward on this link. The helmet for sure is different. AP is a smooth cap and back while ATA still retains bumpiness, even in ABS. ATA bought one set of helmet molds from TE2 (TE2 actually had two different helmt molds, but never offered the second one), so will soon be offering two versions of lids if he hasn't already. ATA used to sell different right/left biceps but I think now has dropped the non-ANH left one and just sells two right biceps like AP. I have a set of ATA due to arrive any day and will have to check the forearms, but I suspect they may be different. I know the AP forearms have smaller rounder dimples on the outside, whereas TE2 has larger square ones. I suspect ATA will be the same. Also, IIRC aren't there differences in the shins as well? Lastly...AP has been around for ages and the armor holds up really well over time (at least it used too - not sure how his latest suits are being pulled). ATA also is very high quality. I don't think you can go wrong either way - it's just which small differences appeal to you. Geez - used to be discussions were all between FX, RT, and AP/TE. How far we've come from a costuming standpoint that not people are sweating deltas between AP, ATA, T/MC,etc.
  9. Any day Alan - we're just a weee bit behind.
  10. Give that man an A for honesty! Wish more had your integrity in this hobby.
  11. Great point. Tom - what do you think?
  12. Always.
  13. Thanks Tom - that clears it up. I'll agree that at some point Centurion should say "no holster".
  14. No - for EI & Centurion it goes beyond CRL.
  15. I'm wondering if we made an error on this. Essentially the TCK is an ROTJ trooper with ANH hand plates & helmet, so it would make sense that if a holster in worn it would be in ROTJ fashion. To be honest, I don't ever recall seeing a holster in the game...anyone else see this?
  16. Once you get in to TE derived helmets (TE,TE2,ATA,AP,T/MC,CAP,CAP-W,MTK,etc.) they are all pretty equivalent in size, and how "big" they are will depend more on the particular pull and how it's trimmed/assembled than anything else. Of the TE ones IMHO the TE2 is perhaps the largest and ATA the smallest, but again depending on how you trim/assemble you can make TE2 smaller than ATA. RT is a little bit bigger than TE type helmets, as are TM's.
  17. Considering that the DL of MEPD and I are working on joint merch, and considering that MEPD was one of the inspirations for FISD...lots of brotherhood. We're trying to work on a motto for the joint ops merch piece, such as: "Got your back, brother" "Better together" "Clean or dirty, taking the fight to you" "Brothers in arms" As for scouts, I do think it's the ability to sit down. It's the 3rd most owned costume in the Legion - quite the feat for a character that only was in one film. Personally I see TK/TB as complimentary together. They find the targets, we take them down the hard way.
  18. Wow - 4 Centurions in the Spanish Garrison. Congratulations and well done.
  19. Any suggestion other than Apple?
  20. So I'm late and just finished Clone Wars Season 3 on Netflix. I want to start S4, but the only full episodes are with Ep 10 and beyond. Is there a way I can watch the full episodes for 1-10?
  21. More pix are always welcome Patrick ;-) This is really a fantastic job at re-creating what's seen on game.
  22. Wow, you must have some beefy calves. Can you show the fronts from the inside?
  23. And a black cat to boot - that should be approved ;-)
