  1. Hey James! Welcome! I’m sorry to have been a bit absent but definitely let me know if you need assistance or guidance through your build! Just an FYI, Matt (chosenhitman). Moved out west so isn’t local anymore. Let me know if I can help in any way! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Hi Guys! Well, it's that time again! I'm looking forward to humbly presenting my most recent build for EIB consideration. I purchased an Anovos kit on the first tier round and FINALLY got around to finishing this baby up! Really fun build! It looks great and troops really solid! I couldn't be more satisfied! And away we go!............ The frown has been repainted, correct screws installed, its pop riveted together, better more accurate brow trim, the tube stripes are Trooperbay replacements for the decal that was there. The lenses were also custom cut and installed as per Gaz's post, using hockey helmet screws embedded in abs stacks. The helmet is also Plasti-Dipped on the inside with MICH pads for support. 6. I have long hair too and have found that a balaclava works excellent or an item called a Hoo-Rag is perfect too. They were offered on the Legion boards recently so I have a 501st one but they have tons of cool designs. Here's the website: http://www.hoorag.com I use both but tend to just put my hair in a ponytail then put the hoo rag over it. It tucks into the back of my neckseal. Good luck!
  7. This is the support topic for the tutorial HOWTO: Make stronger elastic strapping for your armor. Please post here if you have any questions or feedback.
  8. Thanks guys! I'm all over this thing now! Sorry for the redundant thread!
  9. Looks like I'm late to the party! I just saw the other thread on this here!
  10. Hey guys! Haven't posted in a while, I've been absent as of late for a myriad of "real life" reasons but just saw on FB and the RPF about the new EFX armor! It looks pretty accurate. What are the thoughts on this so far over here? Looks interesting! Wanted to hear from my brothers and sisters in this world! Some pics from SDCC: http://yodasnews.net/sdcc2013/displayimage.php?album=5&pid=875#top_display_media And the RPF thread: http://www.therpf.com/f9/efx-reveals-boba-fett-legend-stormtrooper-legend-stormtrooper-armor-190520/
  11. Congrats Phil! And thank you Mathias! Both of you guys are just awesome!
  12. I agree with Ingrid that local population is the key. In the MWG and surrounding garrisons whenever a troop pops up (especislly if it's a big popular one) there is never a shortage of any costumes. Here's a grerat one the garrison did in Joliet, Ill. Different costumes up the wazoo! This is the MWG and a couple of neighboring garrisons though, but turnout for most, while not as many as this, can be similar
