  1. What % of the Syrian population has been killed/injured/displaced this past few years? How about Palestinians in the West Bank? How many people were murdered, etc. under Robert Mugabe in Zim? South Sudan? And what really has the rest of the world done? Not much... Total population may not be huge per se, but as a % of the people in those countries it's very high. What's 1B in an empire of trillions? An MH17 was carrying mostly Dutch, but you don't see the Dutch government doing much about it other than complaining. Alas, lives are cheap.
  2. That shot will make a great poster, or even a great image on a coffee mug, or even a recruiting poster. Just sayin...
  3. Yeah, torn between "I'm a married spud, I'm a married spud" and "What happens at a con, stays at a con", eh?
  4. Incredible! Man, I wish I was there. Hope to see these ladies at Celebration. Are they all 501st, or going to be 501st?
  5. IIRC those are intentional...
  6. Congrats brother - can't wait to see you go Centurion
  7. It's more than amazing to see this brought to life after all this time. Your talents are beyond a doubt, phenomenal. Well done Kev
  8. Correct. I don't have any on mine and have not been called out on them, but I wonder the way things are going if it will be worth it having a small cap one can temporarily afix.
  9. Reposting from Darth Munchies on the Sith Lords site - actually a great read and well reasoned. http://whatculture.com/film/star-wars-10-reasons-galactic-empire-wasnt-bad-everyone-thinks.php It's why at troops I refer to Rebels as insurgents and terrorists.
  10. Question then - did all actors have bibs on their neckseals, or just Mark & Harrison? I ask in that I think the only photos we ever see of the bib are on them, no?
  11. Or, have 2 neck seals. It's kinda like having 2 blasters - you have the hyperfirm for every day trooping, then the de-ac sterling for when you really want to pull the stops out.
  12. Classic! And yeah, I"m pretty sure Troops got it right
  13. The build is great - though I'm sorry to see you're getting a lot of smudging from your holster. I've never seen that before - what happened there?
  14. I'm 6'0" and have worn TE2 & ATA, however I swapped out the shins with RT ones, which I felt fit my legs better. I wonder if TM legs would go with an ATA kit, e.g. would the plastic match well enough? Some day ATA will make taller leg parts, but that's a ways off I hear...
  15. Awesome job - wish I looked as good in my armor. Man, I need to lose some weight now. You're motivating me
  16. You look awesome Frank! Well done and congrats on EI
  17. Back in the day we used to just glue one side and velcro the other on the legs/arms, and wear it for a troop or two. The reason is that it's easy to guess incorrectly when you're just standing in your house. But after a few troops, you have a pretty good idea of where you want it to be. Heck, on my first TK I never did get around to gluing the backs of the thighs, and the fact that the velcro gave a wee bit of give added to the comfort and durability.
  18. My understanding is what you said David, exactly.
  19. A great question - we don't say either way. You really only see it on hero pix, so my guess would be no.
  20. Havoc Troopers are few and far between, but very impressive in person (we have one in my garrison).
  21. By themselves? That should be fine.
