  1. It is amazing what you can find with obscure builds over at RPF (Replica Prop Forum)
  2. There is this version too http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Combat_Driver
  3. I have seen the odd helmet or two advertised on the 501st forum. An applicant has submitted for approval and a CRL is being worked on, apparently it will fall under IOC and the costume will be an imperial cadet. There is also a nice build thread on IOC http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5087-star-wars-rebels-imperial-cadet/page-1
  4. Once approved you have to ask for a status upgrade here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/
  5. Just my own hand skills, took a bit of time but I think they came out ok
  6. Thanks mate I downloaded them a few years ago when I was looking at a Sandtrooper build. I don't have a link for them, I just did a search on google images for pouches until I found them
  7. Looking good, I glued some elastic and Velcro to both end caps so I could keep things inside
  8. Mounting straps attached Strap rivets attached Foam inserts cut Foam inserted and pouches complete
  9. Pretty much the same setup as mine, I also glued a couple of angled pieces of ABS underneath them to make sure they could not fall down
  10. Definitely try to get some from the maker of your armor as there can be a lot of color difference from the different makers. AM contact details: troopergear@gmail.com
  11. Looking forward to the progress and your thoughts on the kit
  12. I have noticed quite a few FOTK's wear a shoulder pouch (on screen and toys), they are very much like the OT Sandtrooper canvas MP40 pouch but by the look of it they are made in leather. Started making some templates Transfered to vinyl, back section glued 2 pieces of vinyl together for strength Holes punched and detail pieces added and sewn, also D ring added to side strip Bottom pieces of the front section glued Glued base of front on to back section Rest of the front glued and sewn, leaving overnight to dry completely
  13. Have a look in the getting started section here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  14. Nice work, I would suggest either some foam behind your shin to push out the sniper plate or some foam in behind the thigh to hold it back from the sniper plate, you will find it could catch the way it is. Good luck on approval
  15. I made my own working stock, not too difficult, this may give you some ideas http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20729-e-11-blaster-for-centurion-standards/
  16. Extra pair of hands and final adjustments made on the strapping In screen shots it looks like a connector is present on the back cross over but again I will wait for better reference photos before I add anything there.
  17. I have the same issue with side rivets, and sometimes ab buttons, touch up is just one of those things we do
  18. CRL does say: •The total length is approximately 7.50" (190.5mm). Really depends on how long it looks on but if you want it to look right, I'd trim it down
