  1. Have a look in the getting started section here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  2. Nice work, I would suggest either some foam behind your shin to push out the sniper plate or some foam in behind the thigh to hold it back from the sniper plate, you will find it could catch the way it is. Good luck on approval
  3. I made my own working stock, not too difficult, this may give you some ideas http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20729-e-11-blaster-for-centurion-standards/
  4. Extra pair of hands and final adjustments made on the strapping In screen shots it looks like a connector is present on the back cross over but again I will wait for better reference photos before I add anything there.
  5. I have the same issue with side rivets, and sometimes ab buttons, touch up is just one of those things we do
  6. CRL does say: ā€¢The total length is approximately 7.50" (190.5mm). Really depends on how long it looks on but if you want it to look right, I'd trim it down
  7. Looking good, just a tip, don't have your bicep hooks too long, they will tend to catch on your armor sometimes
  8. Doesn't have to look pretty as long as it works Rubbing excess glue with your thumb will get that excess glue off
  9. I used straps there, separate straps worked better for me, allows you to just adjust one of the straps if they stretch over time.
  10. If you are worried about using an acetone or thinner you could just use a compound polish to hand buff off the paint
  11. There were bound to be differences and no matter what we say they won't be changed, a different maker of armor and of course just another opportunity for Disney to have a licensed costume maker supply the costume to the adoring fans, money, money, money. Personally I would have liked to have seen more of a cross over between clone to stormtrooper, I suppose it can be seen a little with the death and shore trooper helmets. Hey we could have ended up with Rebels series based TK's, they are the same era
  12. Thanks Walter Pouch drain eyelets attached, harness clips glued, and cover plates attached. Gone about as far as I can with this until I can find more reference photos, very happy the way it has turned out, can't wait to get out and troop with it.
  13. Looks great, looking forward to the progress
  14. About to add the drain holes but looks like they are also present on the outer pouches, bit hard to make out, seems to be two of them and smaller than the centre pouches, I may have to leave these until I can find a better reference.
  15. Drain eyelets and adjusting clips painted Buckles attached to adjuster straps Elastic loops attached, straps and pouches fitted
  16. I usually give the inside a clean the day after a troop to get rid of sweat and give the outside a good polish, get rid of any marks and scratches, amazing how many colours you can find.
  17. Have cut one tooth from the adjusting strap and also trimmed an angle on to the locking piece of the clip, will hold in position better Velcro glued to inside of cover plates Paint applied
