YAY BBB, there is nothing better, good luck with the build. For frown mesh and mic tips I just used flywire mesh from a hardware store. I did give the mesh a coat of silver paint for the mic tips. You can also purchase mesh from trooperbay https://trooperbay.com/trooper-helmet-frown-screen

I use a two piece compression suit, keeps me cool enough with rubber or material gaskets

I have seen the odd helmet or two advertised on the 501st forum. An applicant has submitted for approval and a CRL is being worked on, apparently it will fall under IOC and the costume will be an imperial cadet. Thanks mate I downloaded them a few years ago when I was looking at a Sandtrooper build. I don't have a link for them, I just did a search on google images for pouches until I found them

Looking good, I glued some elastic and Velcro to both end caps so I could keep things inside

Mounting straps attached Strap rivets attached Foam inserts cut Foam inserted and pouches complete

Pretty much the same setup as mine, I also glued a couple of angled pieces of ABS underneath them to make sure they could not fall down

I have noticed quite a few FOTK's wear a shoulder pouch (on screen and toys), they are very much like the OT Sandtrooper canvas MP40 pouch but by the look of it they are made in leather. Started making some templates Transfered to vinyl, back section glued 2 pieces of vinyl together for strength Holes punched and detail pieces added and sewn, also D ring added to side strip Bottom pieces of the front section glued Glued base of front on to back section Rest of the front glued and sewn, leaving overnight to dry completely
