  1. The loop is handy to attach elastic too which then gets snapped to the inside of the shins, this helps to keep the shin down and straight, but something you may add. I would however ask for a photo of the other side of the boots, some sellers have boots with a stepped seam on the inner sides which they purposely don’t show, this may not be the case in this instance but doesn’t hurt to check Good luck and looking forward to the progress.
  2. Coming along nicely, keep up the great work
  3. Nice work, just a couple of things I would watch the positions and gaps of your armor, biceps aren't matching, very little gap on your right arm, knee armor not central, also your right arm shoulder bell could come further forward, helps when moving your arms around if the front straps are a little shorter
  4. I think you will find that more makers are coming out with ab sections in pieces and our DO's would like to see that these joins are seamless, basic approval is looked after by GML's not FISD DO's. I also had to show my neck seal
  5. Hello and welcome aboard, a big project, looking forward to seeing the progress. Make sure you are making to suit the base requirements from the CRL (costume reference library) you can find ANH Stormtrooper here
  6. You have you’re work in front of you but it’s worth a try. The hardest is going to be the helmet, quite a difference much like what happened with the OTTK in Rebels. Good luck, looking forward to the progress
  7. For the strapping? If so there are a couple of different types but I prefer the heavy duty woven, is a bit stronger and seems to last longer.
  8. Commander Duck, love it, you know that's gonna stick
  9. Have you reached out to your local garrison? many have armor build days and may be able to help, you can find a list of garrison's here
  10. Congratulations, don't forget to request an access upgrade here
  11. Nice work, looking smart
  12. I use wired, Aker amp and Icomm for static burst, had to change the battery in the Icomm once, now use an external for ease of charging. I have gone through 3 mic’s in 6 years, just constant rubbing and bending of the wire caused breaks. We also use amp jacks on most of our weapons which run to the amp, this is another cable which runs from the blaster up the arm up to the amp, i’ve Gone through two of these cables as well due to breaks. I have heard some guys have tried wireless with mixed results, personally it’s really not that hard using a wired setup, it’s like things what ever you are comfortable using
  13. Great news, looking forward to the progress
  14. When someone produces an even more cartooned Donald Duck inspired helmet
  15. CRL's are based on images and to date there is no full image of the character so I doubt a decision will be made.
  16. Most upload their photos to an online host then copy the link directly into their posts, allows greater size and amount of photos
  17. Looks like you may have some issues getting your cover stips to sit flat though, because of trimming you have lost the flat section they would normally sit on, you may need to heat up these areas before applying the strips.
  18. Looks like you may have a few suiting up issues and will need a few more photos, the worst begin your shin closure's, neck seal sticking out, rotate the right leg thigh a little so it matches the left, could also bring down your biceps a little to reduce the gap at the elbow. Some of the armor looks very small on your with other pieces looking really large, you may want to trim your shoulder bells a little as they do look huge. Good luck with approval
  19. Looking good, hopefully your BBB's aren't too far away
  20. Nice work. I'm sure you won't have any issues, there are a couple of things to be aware off: The positioning of the knee armor, they don't appear very central but I think the bagginess of the knee gaskets isn't helping that, could reduce the excess material. You could also add a little foam on the inside sides of the shins to bring them more in alignment with the thighs. Back plate and butt plate seem to be angled too. Good luck with approval.
  21. Nice work I don't see any issues for basic approval, you may just need a few adjustments if you aim for the higher levels, good luck.
