  1. Very nice, looking forward to the progress
  2. Once you are bitten by the building bug there is no hope, onwards and upwards to more costumes, I have a couple Looking forward to seeing those BBB photos soon.
  3. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the research
  4. Nice work, coming along great
  5. Really you want your boots on for this one, they can make a huge difference with how the shins sit. Over all not looking bad, left thigh could come down a little. Many of us add some foam behind the sniper plate to help push it forwards so it doesn't hit the thigh
  6. Hello and welcome there are some great builds around to follow, here are a couple that may be of help. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/47872-ear-troubles/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27375-howto-draw-an-approximate-ear-trim-line-with-no-gaps/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29238-my-helmet-ear-tutorial/
  7. Unfortunate the database is in lockdown until the 17th, but at least your GML can give you feedback until then. Good luck once again.
  8. I ran my s trim over the ears but appears you can have it under Many have a gap between the ears and trim
  9. Hello and welcome aboard, good to see you have been doing some research, you can pick up a lot of info going through others build threads, there is also this thread you may find of use
  10. Hello and welcome aboard
  11. It is ok to have cut out sections, they had been seen on some screen armor
  12. Hello and welcome aboard, research is the key to this hobby, you'll find some great info in the getting started section, good luck
  13. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck on the journey
  14. Have you thought of removing some of the return edges, you have a bit there, you could also add a slightly bigger cover strip on the back.
  15. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the journey
  16. It's up to your GML (garrison membership liaison) who ultimately approves armor so I would check with them. I am a GML and unfortunately I would not approve, couple of things the color doesn't match and also the width of the strips Here is another thread on rear thighs having similar issues
  17. Brow trim is a little uneven, in the middle, you'll notice in the reference lower down that hardly any white is seen between the brow and eyes, gives the meaner Hero look Also you could touch up the ends of the frown/teeth at the moment they are a little short and appear to be angling upwards For the traps and tears to make them look "hand painted" you could just go over with a black permanent marker, a little trick to save having to purchase more stickers, but hand painting from scratch still looks the best

    Holster

Sorry was not arguing just giving the information as to what was required for inclusion into the CRL's. Basically screen references need to be seen, but YES I have seen a sling used, NOT a holster which was originally the question of this thread
  19. Hello and welcome aboard
  20. Hello and welcome to the forum
  21. Could have been a cheaper option at the time rather then getting someone to redesign and make new sets of armor, it was a pilot after all
