  1. Very exciting times, good to hear you will be getting a replacement faceplate, hope there are no more issues.
  2. As long as they match references, shape, size and color shouldn't be a problem. There is quite a big difference in shades of color from one makers armor to another so matching the armor white could be an issue.
  3. Page 9 ANH E-11 Encountered another issue with photobucket this morning, go to click on image, open in new page and get this, they may be locking people out who aren't purchasing an account, it may be either the age or type of account, other photobucket images are opening fine. 4. Don't you just love the sanding, NOT. Coming along nicely
  5. Great work, just a couple of things you could address, looks like your smaller ab plate is on a little bit of an angle. I would also try to bring your thighs down a little, they are just hitting in the front and the same in the back On this shot you can see our right calf is open, may need to heat to help it conform a little better Good luck with approval, not that you will need it
  6. Great to see you had better luck with the paint
  7. Shame KB hasn't updated the clip recess alignments, I know it's pretty common. Coming along nicely
  8. The things we learn in 3D printing
  9. Very exciting times, looking forward to seeing the BBB unboxing
  10. Correct you will need the silver/nickel for the detail specific outer snaps, cod and single upper ab. No requirements as to what you use inside.
  11. Wating for glue to dry is a pain, you can never have enough clamps and magnets, every build I buy a few more but still not enough
  12. Looking good, definitely have the front aligned. Mine are a little loose so I added some foam inside. A couple of references showing overhang and angled cover strips
  13. In your application thread titles, centurion is 473. Unfortunately you won't have access to the IPM section. PM sent
  14. Look in the merch section https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49998-march-to-1000-pins-open/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49999-victory-1000-11-inch-patch-open/
  15. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the centurion ranks, a longer ride than normal but you got there in the end, well done trooper
  16. I noticed the post on the legion forums yesterday which reminded me to have a look at the CRL and see what I need to do to get a build going as I'm looking at doing a TKC later down the track. Sorry to hear you are no longer going forward with this project. Thank you for your research and good luck with what's next on your build list I found a few new details yesterday which is also common the TKC and Incinerator trooper, the back of the thighs overlap from inside to outside, the shins still close outside over inside but they have a small angle cut at the top. Whether on not this will be a requirement or not only time will tell but as the armor (with U trim) is common to ROTJ I would gather we would just emulate that, so stick with outside covering inside on the back of the thighs. No doubt what ever get's added to this CRL should also be added to TKC and Incinerator CRL's as they are all based on the same costume.
  17. Using nylon will work, I do prefer doubled over elastic, just allows a little give when bending and stretching.

  19. Great progress, stick with it
  20. Most of the images I had found are in the security office, the rest are very dark to make out details and color.
  21. Hello and welcome aboard, great to hear you have been doing your research. There are many of us waiting the the wings to guide and offer feedback so when you have your BBB post up a build thread, good luck looking forward to seeing the progress
  22. A nice spreadsheet showing the differences https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view
  23. I found one on Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4005186 also the picatinny rail https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4025519
  24. Looks like your images isn't showing, are you using an online free image host, many of us use Imgur, just upload your images then copy the "direct link" into your post.
  25. That's in regards to using recasted armor Any armor on the "vetted sellers" list can quite easily become 501st approved if build right. Unfortunately this is not one of the cheapest hobbies to get into especially if seeking 501st approval.
