WOW that's strange, my 8 year old ATA is showing no signs of yellow and I've trooped in 39 deg C outdoors a few times. I guess it comes down to the product itself, where it's from and what is it's ingredients, some plastic obviously do yellow but others don't seem to have problems with it. Very interesting about Anovos yellowing but I guess coming from China originally they could use anything in their plastic.

Nice work, you may want to move the cut ends of the plastic ties behind the cabling or you may find you could catch on them from time to time putting the helmet on or off

After usage or storage over time the Icomm internal battery can loose the ability to hold a charge, you can replace the internal battery or add an external which @sly came up with, I use this and still going 8 years later. Many of us keep the aker and icomm behind the chest, the image below is not mine, I have them tightly together held with elastic with velcro sewn on the back. Also have a small ABS ledge of angled plastic below to stop them falling down. Some use an icomm and hovi tip speakers A few keep them strapped together on their neck

I don't use hovi speakers, I find the aker amp works well behind the chest, especially at larger noisy events, gives a nice distortion as well

I prefer everything in the chest and just run the mic onto head, easy to take helmet on and off and less weight

Piece of wood on a rubber mat can make a difference.

I trimmed most of the return edge off the bottom of the sniper plate, but notched the center front area so it would sit central on the coverstrip
