Very nice indeed -

Also if you make a guide from some plastic then all your straps and snap plates should be the same if you need to swap any out

Hello and welcome aboard, research is the key to this hobby, this thread should get you on your way. Hope to see some BBB photos from you soon

Note, some images in that thread could be incorrect it was compiled from images posted in the ESB E-11 threads, many were broken links so it was a matter or saving an compiling, obviously its a bit hard to validate every image but if there are any suspicious/uncommon we can remove them so there is no future confusion

I still remember that feeling of the first time kitting up in the armor, never gets old. You can find once you start moving around that a little trimming may be needed here and there, especially on arms Almost there, "stay on target"

I've used different brands in the past, some have been quite hard to get apart but can't say I've had any want to pull through nylon though, although I have had them do that with elastic. Make sure you aren't making the holes with the soldering iron too big. Another trick is to apply some E6000 to the whole to make it a little stiffer, leave overnight then apply the snaps the next day.

I add some to mine, it can slip down if only using the rivets to hold

Hot water bath can help if you don't have a heat gun, even with a heat gun you have to be very very careful. Using tape to pull the plate in position while glue is drying is also a good idea, even when using clamps and magnets, helps it from stop slipping.

I start with the thighs and torso, arms last as you should be fully kitted up to get those right Double snaps have saved me in the past when a shoulder strap lost a snap, if you are only going to use double snaps in some places I suggest shoulders, although double snaps everywhere is a good idea, just in case.

These are a little bit of a pain to fit, I use clamps, magnets and tape to pull and twist the sniper plate so it sits better. You don't need to be flush with the cover strip, you can add some other pieces of scrap plastic to take up the gap and have something the glue to grip too. Here's a couple of centurion approved AP sniper plates for reference

Ok firstly use a lighter or stove top to seal the ends of the strapping, will work much better than using a soldering iron. Some of the posts inside the snaps look offset, are you using a snap setting tool?, something like this. The best ones have 5 or 6 sides on the end that help open the post. I had a really bad batch and ended up using a philips head screwdriver to open the post a little, thread here

Looks like a very soft pull, not much definition in the O. This is how it should look. You could speak to the supplier of yours and see if they have a better one, or speak with your GML as to if it will be an issue for approval. You could also with some practice k(a lot if using a heat gun) add some heat just to that area, add washers behind and push in the dimple.

Here's an AM EIB for comparison, not sure what version AM the kit was Another EIB AM here I think you will find once you have the shoulder straps positioned you won't notice the difference. I add the shoulder strapping first, hang over a box or mannequin if you have one, then align the shoulder straps so they meet with the backplate, add some tape to the sides and front so you know how to put them back in the same position, once you are happy with the location then rough up with sandpaper and glue and clamp. Also common problem with Anovos it appears

I've not come across this issue before but I have a vinyl holster, could be an option to add a piece of vinyl to the backside of your holster to stop the bleed. After I found some black marks from the microphone had bled onto my hand plates I used some automotive cutting compound (rough polish), then went over with a fine polish, came out fine, some mention they use the Novus brand polish with some success. Here is a previous thread you posted with brown marks (lucky you wore the brown pants) Another thread with black bleed on armor Trooperbay has an armor whitening product too but I've not tried it myself https://www.trooperbay.com/products/trooperbay-armorwhite-plastic-whitening-gel?_pos=1&_psq=whitening&_ss=e&_v=1.0
