  1. Very nice work there
  2. As a 501st member you can get higher access, then another level of access once you have an approved TK
  3. With my ATA kit I didn't need much heat at all, just to get the shins to close a little better. A few threads which may be of help Crickets build thread has quite a few links to different pieces of armor which have been heated First Torso Fitting: Back Plate Sizing, Kidney and Ab Shaping in Hot Water Bath Trimming and Hot Water Bath for the Butt Plate Hot Water Bath and Heat Sealing Iron to Improve Kidney Return Ab and Kidney 2.0- Hot Water to Shape Things Up (let's do this again, shall we?) And a what not to do thread, great care must be taken using heat

  5. Just to be really picky and it probably won't be mentioned your clips at the control panel end shouldn't be rounded and screws could be closer to the ends of the clips but as I say I doubt it would come up
  6. You will find you will need to bring those bottom snaps upwards as your bicep will sit over where they are presently Note No2

  8. Locally we don't post images of children on most social media, we do ask parents at times if it is ok to do so just in case someone forgets. I don't recall it being a rule for troop logs on our forum though.
  9. Any parts under strain should be left to fully dry, I normally leave up to 72 hours for those pieces. Your boo boo may not even be noticed for base level approval, for higher a little ABS paste may help
  10. Hello and welcome aboard, FYI as a 501st member you can request higher forum access here
  11. You will find a nice comparison of each version and their differences here https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view
  12. If you do go TK for approval you can always start out with a clean version and convert it to a sandy or muddy later Nice work, weathering on the helmet came out really well
  13. You can keep a record of your troops here and request awards for different levels completed https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/13-field-training-exercises/ Good luck and hope you have a great time, one of many more to come no doubt
  14. Looking good. Just one thing your left side kidney plate is sticking out, you could glue a piece of ABS plastic behind so it will hold it in behind the ab plate
  15. UPDATE 6 August 2022 Well look at that, threaten to start posting online and I get a response. Hi Glen, Is Australia Post the only carrier there? Is FedEx available? Thanks, Denuo Novo Customer Service We only have one FedEx depot here in WA and it's 22km's away. I just don't know why I can't send Australia Post and they reimburse the shipping. And the wait continues.
  16. Welcome aboard, good luck with the build, when in doubt ask and measure twice and cut once. This thread may also be of help

  19. Most kits will go up to about 6' over that you start getting gaps, for the larger or taller AM, RT-Mod or TM (has taller shins) are probably best. In saying that you can make some adjustments in gaps, really depends what it will look like on, if there's no huge gaps you should be ok, but as we have seen in some threads the gaps can be just too much. 6' MTK A couple of threads on taller troopers
  20. I've had to add a small piece of plastic behind the top of the sniper plate to allow the bottom and sides to angle correctly. It's all about force, clamps, magnets and wrapping tape all can be used to get it to sit just right
  21. I normally finish off with a couple of different grade wet and dry sandpaper, if you use water it helps the sandpaper to last a little longer and not get clogged as quickly, 240grit then finish with a 600grit just to make absolutely smooth
  22. UPDATE 5th August 2022 Still no response from last email 9th July, and I've sent multiple emails, looks like they are doing an aNOvus and not answering customer complaints, all I was waiting for was return shipping to be organised. I've also tried to contact on FB to get a reply but nothing as yet, I've warned them if I don't get a response soon I'll start posting in the build groups on FB. Not off to a very good start at all. I did notice this image of the pauldron they posted which has no ridges or marks, be very very wary of ordering one, you may end up with a pile of doodoo as mine don't look anything like that

  24. Does look like the reference has a little less grey in some areas but really it's a personal choice how much weathering is too much. Great work getting the helmet shield that curved, just note it does look a slightly different white, I guess not too much of an issue with weathering going over the top
