  1. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks. Once you have received your email from legion HQ post a link to your membership profile and request TK access here Instructions in first post of that thread
  2. And to be perfectly open not all staff supported the case for FISD to home this costume, especially when we have had costumes with more TK lineage go to Spec Ops Being a specialised force has seen many a TK version fall under Spec Ops and at the end of the day it's really up to the DL's and LMO's other staff are not privy to those conversations. We are after all white armor, not partly white and grey or made from beskar, or have mandalorian lineage, which makes these troopers specialised
  3. The coverstrips can stop short of the raised sections Tops of thighs and shins had quite a large gap
  4. Some great files by Michael Baddeley on Facebook, you have to join his patreon but it's well worth it for the amount of files you receive Not an R2 but have done some larger droid builds, latest is an IG-12, 3/4 printed so far. Battle droid was my first project, all done on 2 x 220mm x 220mm bed printers, that took some time
  5. Nice work, grip came out well
  6. Looks pretty good. I measure 10mm to the end of the cap of the rivet, not the centre, cap rivets being 8mm, half that which is 4mm, so mine are 14mm to centre from the edge. From the CRL: Rivets are equally spaced along the depth of the armor and about 10mm from the edge. Note references below, both sides notches are different. There's a nice piece on notches by @justjoseph63 in a previous EIB submission you may be interested in reading Cut notches are optional, from the CRL: Cut-out notches at the bottom of right and left sides of the Kidney Armor are optional. If present, each notch is approximately 22 mm tall and the back of the notch ideally is aligned with the front edges of the Posterior Armor plate.. Deployment Officers Reference images for side rivets
  7. I did see that online, was pretty impressive
  8. Many attach to the inside of the chest. Depending on volume you can get some feedback, generally it's fine.
  9. Sniper plate position looks good. I'd take a little more off the cod, reference You can take some more return edge off the ab and backplate if you wish, I left about 5mm for strength so it wouldn't crack Sides look fine, should pull in nicely with strapping attached
  10. LMO's deemed it would fall under FISD, I understand the wording "Stormtroopers" was used by the company that supplied the costumes. Guess we wait see what Disney and retail references call them, also there could be something in ā€œThe Making of Season 3ā€, streaming June 28 only on Disney+.
  11. Hopefully we'll get to see some refernces of these in the not too distant future, I'm seeing some designers adding the curved handles, be nice to know which will be correct.
  12. Nice work although your clips look like they may be a little long, just make sure they don't show once on the belt, also note the position of the O detail once it's positioned on the belt.

  14. Looking forward to seeing the progress
  15. You copy download songs / lines onto the board, you could wear in a pouch with a strap under the cape. You could have a look at the Krayt Clan Detachment, they look after all Garindan costumes https://www.kraytclan.com/
  16. The link James posted above takes you to the legion forum which you won't have access to unless you became a member, here is the info below: http://www.electronics123.com/kits-and-modules/Audio-Effects-and-Sound-Modules/300-second-USB-recording-module.html There are quite a lot of other media players around which are a little smaller, many of us use them in conjunction with an Aker 1506 amp same as we use for Stormtrooper costumes, these just allow a louder volume for conventions and noisy troops.
  17. Did you rough both the surfaces with coarse sandpaper first, that usually helps the E6000 to grip to, also for any areas under any strain leave clamped for 48 to 72 hours. Personally I'd lift it, add a little more glue and clamp again. BUT in saying that I doubt your GML would see it and you could be ok to troop with it as long as it doesn't catch on your shoulder bells when moving.
  18. That's your legion forum profile not your legion membership profile, instructions in first post of this thread This is the one you need https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=34134
  19. Nice work, just watch any areas that stick out past the armor as they can catch, especially on the shoulders
  20. Have a read here Some great links in this thread for everything else Stormtrooper You may also want to reference this list for what is different between the versions https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view Research is the key to this hobby, good luck
  21. Head over to Pathfinder Detachment they look after biker scouts needs http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?act=home Good luck with the build
  22. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the HWT ranks
  23. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks, one of many more troops to come no doubt
