  1. Looking forward to seeing the progress. You may notice in the images below there is a slight curve to the rear forearm cut/angle Just in case you aren't aware we have a gallery area full of references, always check before you cut, measure twice and cut once Good luck
  2. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
  3. A lot comes from our costuming standards, some not understanding and frustrated they haven't been approved so the first thing to do is yell out on social media the legion is too strict. That's not to diminish some peoples experience in the legion a lot can be negative but I find the positive more out ways the negative. Every club has it's issues, look at our former LCO takes to social media and rants over issues she encounered, that's not the way a club leader should act. Social media is the easiest way to get negativity out there in the world, it has a lot to answer for. Mostly my time in the legion has been positive, hopefully that remains until I call it a day.
  4. You don't need the full length and can trim which will be more comfortable, have a look at the images I post in my previous post. Chest/backplate references
  5. Double snaps can be the difference between trooping and not, especially in areas that can take some strain as you can occasionally have them pull through the elastic. Great thread here on snap setting
  6. I used magnets as well but found some times when moving the arms the pauldron could detach, I ended up adding a velcro strap to which went down around the neck area, see how you go
  7. There is no absolute gap, minimal is best but it's a case of trying to make all the gaps about the same, inside elbow and at the wrists, it would also change if you put your arm straight down and also bending it, holding a weapon. You should do any final adjustment with the shoulder strapped to full armor as that can also make things sit a little differently. You could also remove this angle if you wished too

  9. You have to apply for EIB and be approved before you can apply for Centurion, it's all about the details for each level. CRL EIB blue and Centurion Red https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt
  10. Looks pretty good Yes posterior does get trimmed, 5mm is enough of an edge A couple of AM EIB references Really depends how the posts collapse, sometimes they offset to one side and make it harder to close or they don't squash down as much as they should. I found once setting to use a bolt the same size as the opening and give a tap to squash the post a little more. Try not to hold too tight with pliers it can deform the opening which also makes them harder to close.
  11. Loving the updates, looking forward to seeing the progress, good luck
  12. Great news, welcome to the ranks trooper, once your TKID comes through you can request TK forum access here
  13. Sidearm Curved Handle The new sidearm for the imperial commado's is very similar to the SE-14R which had me thinking if the handle would be curved/molded the same way, appears it does Rexim Favor Se-14R Imperial Commando sidearm

  16. Got to the message, click "options" top right, select "turn notifications off" For any other tech issues please use this thread https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/24-forum-help-support/
  17. Entirely up to you, really depends how they sit over your biceps, some trim completely so it allows the shoulder to come inwards a little more
  18. Hello and welcome aboard, looking forward to seeing your BBB photos soon.
  19. Pretty much the same as I do, just cut the scrap abs when it gets a little dull. A wet rage worked well for me. Like anything you learn with doing and we all go through it
  20. You could try automotive compound polish, courser than regular polish. Other than that perhaps a light sand with ultrafine sandpaper and then polish to bring back the shine.
  21. Return edge on the back is fine
  22. For the higher levels you will need to remove all the return edge from the front of the forearms
  23. Nice work, looks good to me
