If I were you , I'd lose the foam at the back of the helmet . You will need the helmet to be as far away from your face as possible, to allow air circulation . Foam at the forehead pushes the helmet forwards , which is what you want .

The inner forearms should be noticeably different , send a photo of what you have to RS , and ask for confirmation .

I can't answer your question exactly as I don't have a TM helmet ( ;0( ) <br> But I have experience .. Amfewvyears ago I had a painted helmet and abs armour . The white paint I used wasn't the same as the White of my plastic armour .<br> I trooped for several years with this set up and no one ever noticed . It really doesn't matter .<br> And , remember ....the background helmets in the movie were painted !!! <br> I would say , buy an RS helmet , you will love it . <br> And as a bonus, you will have it in just a couple of weeks .

The fx lid is hideous , but so is the rest of the armour . Just save up and get something that looks half decent .

Yes, of course they are ! Ring first of course, but visitors are always welcome in my experience . I often call in when passing .<br> Having a proper fitting can prevent any problems in the build .

Leave it exactly as it is , it's a very nice Jedi suit . And screen accurate ...no shock troopers in the movies .

It's screen accurate strapping , you get in it from the right side , poking your left arm in first, then your head ..its identical to normal except that the shoulder bells are there already . <br> With un armoured arms , you can reach up to put the helmet on / off more easily ( for me anyway) <br> I've never needed the biceps and firearms to be joined , they sit fine . <br> My armour is RS .

I leave my shoulder bells connected to the upper torso setup, which I put on in one piece , then my arms are free to place my biceps and then forearms . <br> I have my forearms free because they come off first to enable me to get my lid off easily .

Yeh, why not talk to them before attacking them on the Internet . <br> It looks like you will have to have the top of the thighs trimmed , this will lose the return edge unfortunately . Also the bottom of the shins can be trimmed upwards . <br> There's only so much can be done and retain screen accuracy . It's a compromise I'm afraid .

Sorry I missed you . The thighs are difficult to adjust ... They are a fixed length and that's it . The rear lips of the thigh and calf can be cut away ...check screen caps. <br> Raising your leg to get up a six inch step is something many short troopers have trouble with .<br> I'm sure you will overcome this with careful trimming , remember to check screen accuracy before cutting . There are loads of photos in the files on this site .

More confusion ..on my part . The BikerScout Project is a charity group set up with Disney/ lucasfilm to produce 45 custom biker scout helmets for display and auction at Celebration in London this June . All proceeds are to the make a wish foundation charity .RS are sponsoring the project by donating 50 BikerScout helmets , and taking part in the builds . The deadline for helmets is now , and on Saturday several helmets will be being collected from RS studio for transport to London / Disney . I didn't think any of the screen used blasters had the metal prongs ? I may be wrong . I never got them on mine .

No no .... I'm just a customer ! The Rob you have been mailing is the boss there ( the R in RS ) not me .<br> Saturday mornings there are usually a few employees working ( depends on workload) and Rob the boss and Si the other boss will be in , plus myself and a few mates / customers / biker scout helmet contributors . <br> Saturday is better for chatting , as people are more relaxed and the bosses aren't cracking the whip,over the employees quite so hard !!!! <br> Plus you get a free factory tour !!! And you never know, the vac former might be working ...a fabulous sight .
