  1. since you are wearing a ROTJ suit there are a number of things wrong. 1. helmet frown painted wrong. Should be black. and extend outside the teeth area. (I'd consider a more accurate style helmet) Tears and traps stripes may need redoing as well. 2. holster hangs on the right side. 3. missing the thermal detonator 4. need to add velcro so the backs of the greaves close. 5. thigh armor should be closed in back 6. ab dots are upside down. Last thing I see is the armor looks loose on you. Ab and cod could be raised so the chest overlaps some. Thighs and greaves look a little big as well but since they aren't closedin the back that may be better when you close them up.
  2. I can't wait to troop with her in her armor just so I can talk to her. You'll be the cutest TK ever Renata.
  3. and that is a deal. I can't even buy a kit I sell for that little.
  4. Yes, it is T/MC armor. FAC is Far Away Creations which is run by MC. I don't know who StonesStudioCreations is though. My guess is it is a member of the MG who bought the kit but decided not to build it.
  5. and there you have it. Good job, Oso.
  6. It does work. Do you skype? Maybe I can help via that.
  7. I don't know picasa. You can figure out the direct url for the photo by control clicking the image and select view image. All that should appear in your browser window is the photo you want to post.
  8. these forums require the img tag The url for the actual photo is placed between [ img] and [ /img] (no spaces). If you have it set to view in html you must copy the url that looks like this. https://lh4.googleus...8/s717/e-11.jpg Notice the .jpg at the end of the url. That means it is a direct link to the image. not a web page that shows the image.
  9. Exactly, both are facing in. The accurate way mounts through the ab plate. The nice clean way you would mount the snap to a small piece of plastic and glue on the inside of the ab plate.
  10. Unless you plan to go with Centurion I would consider decals for the tube stripes and traps. So much nicer than hand painted. The Empire would never hand paint there armor. I would use webbing for the straps between the chest and back armor. Not elastic. It will still let you move around without getting further apart allowing things to catch easier. Shoulder bells. The black strap wraps around the bicep. Not white. Not sure where you see white ones. Stunt Hero
  11. When is your party? It can take a long time to build or it can take a day to build depending on how many people you have helping. Best of luck and ask what you can. Most of us have not worked with fiberglass so I couldn't begin to help there. I also know that with as much armor as the TK has a fiberglass kit would be way to heavy. You'll be sore within an hour.
  12. you know, I never had to set it up for Tapatalk. It just started doing it.
  13. you apparently haven't gotten too deep in it yet. It's already on here.
  14. congratulations Mason. Looking forward to a new year.
  15. Thanks Paul. It has been a pleasure working for you over the last couple of years.
  16. r those qui-gon jinn sabers?
  17. possible to try display cases. here is one that you can get custom sizes made. Fairly inexpensive from what I can tell. http://www.casesforcollectibles.com/acrylicboxes.html You'll see a link between the red text that is for a box size configurer that gives you a price for your custom size box. I do not know if they ship international though. I would send a message to them asking if they do.
  18. also one thing that you have to understand is that unless you get armor all made from teh same batch of plastic you will almost never get matching colors as they differ from batch to batch. Cleaning it up or polishing might help but be warned it most likely will never match. If it does bother you you can always paint the whole kit so they do match. I'm with Rob though, I wouldn't worry about it. I have biceps that are slightly different color but you really have to look to see it. Most photos you'll never notice.
  19. As long as you cannot see the lights when they are off there shouldn't be any problems with Centurion. But if you alter the helmet so the holes or slots or whatever shows the light when they are on I would say yes, that will keep you from it. As long as they are off and nothign is differnet with the armor you should be okay. Speaker system is the same thing. As long as it is not visible you are okay. And I will edit to say this, TK's do not have lights in theire helmets. I wouldn't put them in.
  20. mine are riveted to the box and sewn to the back side of the belt so they cannot come off, lose or get lost.
  21. I have a brand spankin new T/MC coming so I can beat it to hell and make a Death Trooper. I can't wait. I doubt I'll go that far wiht it. Bada$$ looking Death Trooper though.
  22. should the square ends be cut off on the shoulder straps in the back? Thought that was required. Maybe not for basic approval but I would think it is if you are going EIB or Centurion though. Awesome looking kit. Nice work.
  23. you don't really want to weather a TK. It will over time happen itself and much more naturally because it will weather as you wear it as you rub and bump against things. I still clean mine now and then to get rid of the big heavy marks but the little scratches and nicks that have happened add to the suit. And I know they happened cause I used it. Not becaus ei made it that way. Wear with pride and it will weather on it's own.
  24. it has the 1/8" mini jack. To use that amp you will need a powered mic. You can solder a jumper that will power a mic using the 9v battery the amp uses. I believe you don't even need a powered mic after that. Mine isn't a powered mic and I use that RS amp.
