  1. I read this for the TK Commander. This is listed under the Centurion list. The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle.
  2. bada$$ dude. Makes me want to pull out my PC and play with MAYA some more.
  3. Is the problem that when you crush it with the anvil it doesn't go straight down? It kind of shifts off the side? I would suggest using a shorter eyelet.
  4. Sorry, I think my post was a bit confusing. These photos look right to me. Make the strips 1 1/8" wide and they would be perfect. I notice in a lot of the screen shots the metal strips aren't touching the control panel either. Like 1/4" away or more sometimes.
  5. you know, square and 1 1/8" of yours would look perfect. The screw on the wider one is just inside the edge of the face plate. slightly less and it would be perfect. I buy matel sheets from the hardware store. they are great and have different thicknesses. Mine are 1". Looks at though I will have to go and switch them out. Thanks guys for bringing this up.
  6. based on the screen shot the narrower one appears more correct. It is mounted to the edge of the caps like they should and the screw is right in the center along the edge of the face plate. However, the wider ones are cut square and look more accurate than the rounded corners. Also, the screws in the narrower ones are too far from the edge based on the photos shown as well.
  7. Those helmets are from the TK helmet project that were auctioned off at CV for Make-a-Wish.
  8. Thanks Karin. In the meantime I will find the gloves.
  9. so I should wait till I order the hand guards for the US market ?
  10. i can't kneel sorry. I know I would have that pose it I could though.
  11. I really think I need to get a set of these. I am told I can find the gloves at Home Depot. If there is a US member that can absolutely confirm this I won't need them. The hand guards I want for sure.
  12. Glad you like it Sarah. We tried hard to make it right. Can't wait to see the finished build.
  13. can it be Letter pressed? I know a company that might be able to do it for extremely cheap.
  14. awesome Julie. Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing the photos.
  15. Sorry, where do we see any photos that have the sniper plate or thigh belt glued to the armor?
  16. Kit is looking great Michael. It is exciting seeing your progress. Brings back memories. You should be getting some new plastic for your helmet shortly. We finally got the pulls down and get little to no cooling lines and stretch marks.
  17. Sarah, I know you've put a lot of time and have had help from Tim putting time into your helmet but I have been working on getting new plastic done for you and hoped you would wait before you starting sanding and having to paint your helmet. After a lot of testing We have gotten the best pulls ever on the helmets. He assures me there is little to no lines anywhere on the dome. New plastic parts will be coming to you and hopefully you will be able to use the new helmet parts instead. I am sorry it has taken so long to get back with you on this. Maybe you can use one of the helmets as a display helmet. I'm sorry the helmet you received wasn't in better shape. I hope with the new parts you get you would reconsider recommending our full kits, helmet included. After yours and Michael's bad pulls we went back to the drawing board on how to best pull the helmets. We think we've done a great job and have something better to offer now. They should be going out to you this week. Please let me know when you get them.

    Trooper Down

Best to you Brother. Get well soon.
  19. I use Jo Ann's. Most fabric stores carry elastic from 1/8" up to 3" in both black and white.
  20. it was another Michael. Sorry. I should start using peoples forum name next time. I always feel silly when I do. Mine is my name so it never seemed weird to me.
  21. Because of the late time I have sent an email to MC. I will see what he says about doing new helmets. If he can't do them without the lines I would be happy to send a discount refund. For that I would prefer to move our conversations to PM's. I will be gone for a week to help my sister find a new home in Kansas and won't have access to a computer. I will do my best with my phone but somethings might have to wait till I get back. Again, I am very sorry. Tray
  22. I am extremely sorry this has happened. I have always been very cautious about the quality of our kits and I would never allow something I thought I wouldn't want to own get sent out. I've never seen a kit come out that doesn't have some sort of line on it. Maybe it is the process he uses when doing the pulls. I've watched him do it and there has never been a time it didn't happen. Just sometimes it works out better than others. Apparently both of yours are the worst. Jorran, the divot in the back looks like it started pulling faster than it was meant to and stretched the plastic to fast. Mine has it to, just not as bad. I can try and get a replacement but of course there is no guarantee it won't have some problems. At the very least I'll see if I can get him to try and improve it. Otherwise I will stop selling kits altogether. Every time someone complains about their kit it makes me cringe knowing I am responsible for the one selling it. Tell me what you want and I'll do my best to give it to you. If you want your money back I will pay you for the helmet and shipping. I would love to have them back. With the money you can find someone who can give you perfection. Mike says ATA seems to do it right. I am sorry you aren't happy with the helmets. I still stand behind my statement that there is no kit, helmet included, that I would rather have than the one I own. I await your PM's Sarah and Michael. Tray
  23. one side shouldn't really have a return edge. the part where the butt and kidney go together should be flat but who knows, I could be wrong. I've just never seen a return edge on the bottom of it. The only return edge I know of is at the top where the back and kidney meet with a very small gap between them.
  24. you and me both Brian. A lot of fun shots in there. I hope you got some good ones of you in your Juno outfit for your Legion trading card you signed up for.
